[Lesson Plan One: Scent Trails]
Spottedheart quickly lapped at her pelt, her calico fur shining in the sunny sky. The young warrior looked disdainfully at the stony ground before looking back through the way she had came. Spottedheart had left a difficult scent trail to follow, since she made it all over the place anyways. A small snicker escaped her voice box, and there she waited, for all five apprentices. |

Swiftpaw pushed through the brush of the outer territory to follow her mentor who was long gone. Having never left the clan's main camp grounds, Swiftpaw had a difficult time getting through all the different obstacles. She wasn't use to this much brush in her way. Another thing that made it difficult to keep up with her mentor was that Spottedheart had left multiple scent trails. Some new and some old. She sniffed the air, following the newest which led to an older trail. But soon enough she got the hang of it: an old scent trail would lead to a new trail.....hopefully?

Blazepaw walked into the territory, watching Swiftpaw take off. He stumbled foward, his lack of being out of camp caused this. The male raised his nose and sniffed, Blazepaw went left. It seemed the most recent, he sniffed again. Where to go? He went foward and looked around, the male sniffed once again, he continued this for about 4 minutes. Finally, he saw a cat. Blazepaw didn't bother to sniff before he dashed foward. As soon as he got closer, he mewed, a bit quietly. "Swiftpaw!" Well, because thats who he found.

Spottedheart watched the apprentices from the top of an elm tree. The young warrior was laughing so hard quietly, she fell off her perch and landed with a loud rustle in a bush. Her good eye widened in surprise, and Spottedheart starte laughing loudly.
" C-Come on ! " she called, voice ringing out from the other side of a large boulder. |

Swiftpaw looked behind herself at Blazepaw "Who knew that our mentor's first training would be a game of hide and seek!" she scoffed, stifling a laugh as she waited for Blazepaw to come up behind her. She looked around "Did you find her or se-" her questions were cut off but the loud rustle of their mentor falling into a bush. She padded over and peaked into the bush "Found you!" She laughed, they'd only found her because she had fallen into the bush on...accident? Maybe it was on purpose...

Spottedheart laughed, and her green eye twinkled at the gray, red, and white apprentice. Of course, it had been on accident since Spottedheart was laughing so hard. A feline grin stretched over her facial features. " Today, we are learning scent trails. " she said. |

I leaped up onto the boulder, landing in front of everyone. I flashes the she-cats a handsome smile, and studied Spottedheart. She wasn't even that much older than us, which was unbelievable. She was barely a Warrior! I heard 'scent trails', and laughed a little. Ugh, like our noses couldn't figure that out on their own!

Swiftpaw looked at Spottedheart with a smirk, but her eyes definitely had the look of someone who wasn't amused "You don't say?" she said, her voice had a sarcastic hold to it "All those scent trails leading us in a maze, never would have guessed" She said, the heavy sarcasm in her voice was almost deadly until she laughed at end at her mentor's misfortune of falling out of her hiding place. She paid no attention to Frostpaw's attempt at flirting with all the she-cats.

I laughed, rolling my eyes. Why did we have to do this? Couldn't we just... Hunt or something? That would be way more exciting, and useful. I looked at Robinpaw, raising my eyebrows. What an interesting training session this would be!

Blazepaw laughed and followed Swiftpaw. "This is so neat." he whispered in her ear. He turned to Spottedheart. "I think this seems fun, I can't wait to find things such as prey!" His voice was filled with excitement. Blazepaw decided to stay with Swiftpaw, unless he had to be away from her of course.
The tom licked his shoulder blade, keeping his fluffy fur clean. He was rather proud of it. He has white going down from his muzzle to his tail, his tail was completely white.The rest of his body was a dark orange. On his ankles he had white tabby stripes.
The tom looked happily at the other cats with his dark blue eyes.

Spottedheart looked sternly at Frostpaw, who was attempting to flirt with her. " I will train each of you separately in the main catergories; hunting, and fighting, of course. We will explore the territory together, learn scent trails, and have competitions when I am done with all ten private sessions. It gives me a chance to train better as well, and I would like a lively bunch of apprentices. Alright? " she said in a soft but distinct voice. " Am I clear? " |

Swiftpaw smirked "Clear, Spottedheart!" She replied quickly, frowning a bit about learning that she probably wouldn't be trained with Blazekit, she sighed, maybe it was for the better? She frowned at the thought before brightening up her smile "I'm the liveliest of the live!" she laughed.

Blazepaw was a bit sad, but at least it would be fun. He scooted to the side and mewed "I got it!" with a large goofy grin.
