The edges of the lake lie along a series of high cliffs. The rocky walls are a pale grey and difficult to navigate. Certain rare herbs grow along the cliff walls but they are difficult to reach. Just below the cliffs lie the ocean and sharp rocks, falling means almost certain death.

Around the edge of Rockclan's territory, close to Treeclan, lies a sandy stretch of beach. The sand is especially soft, made of ground up shells.
