I watched in terror as a twoleg stepped toward my mother and me, a sharp stick with liquid in his hand. He reached for my mother and shoved the stick into her fur. Mother screamed. "Run Frost, run away! Now!" she yowled. I didn't want to leave her, but i had no other choice as the twoleg dropped my mothers lifeless body, i ran through the trees, fast as the wind could carry me.
I never looked back, though i could here the twoleg yelling. Suddenly, i ran into something. I looked up to see a she-cat, staring at me wide-eyed and dismayed. Next to her sat a brown tabby kit. "S-Sorry." I stammered.
