NO! *she dives in to the river all the bones in her body screaming with protest* She saw a body floating towards the bottom of the river. *flailing her paws she dived down after fernpaw* *she tried to talk but her lungs filled with water* *she grabbed the limp body of fernpaw and pulled her up to shore* coughing and spluttering she looked at fernpaw with worried eyes. Are you ok?

She looks at fernpaw. Please be alive, please be alive. She muttered under her breath. *she pressed her head against fernpaws heart and she brightened as she heard slow thumps* she just needs to get some of the water out of her. she said looking at stormkit. Help me out here! (I messed up my post just pretend the one about diving is before liying there)

*she pushes and a few drops of water came out* *pushing harder a whole blast came out knocking her down* *shaking off the water she listened to fernpaws heart* I think that's about it. And now we wait. She waited nervously. There was no time to get Pinefrost because if she left fernpaw she was afraid she'd die.

best friends, she whispered under her breath. Fernpaw, I've known you since the beginning when I helped you name yourself, find an identity, and remember your past. You have always been a role-model for me and we should have never let a tom get between us. I'm sorry. She said letting the tears drop as she rested her head on fernpaws slow beating heart.
