Hunting

[Skunkstripe]

* leaps onto a rock slipping on the snow on top but manages to get ontop and smells the air for prey keeping his eyes wide open*

*his eyes gleam as he spots a halk on a near by rock* hmmm

*wondering if he can catch it he slowly slinks torward it and makes a mightly leap to its rock and land on it as it tryed to take to the skys*

*the halk screeched in shock as we hit the rock and it trys to dig its talons into my chest but i lock firmly to is neck and it grows limp and i pick it up and lift my head in pride *

[Fernblossom]

*pads up* can I join you?

*puts down his hawk* Sure Fernpaw
*he mews gracfully as he hides his hawk from other animals*

* pads up to Skunkpaw * would you like me to come too??

*i turn my head to see Echowing* Oh... sure you can

[Fernblossom]

Ok! *follows the scent of a vole leaps on it and kills it and drapgs it back to the pile*

*looks at Fernpaw dazzed at her great hunting skills and then trys to find more prey*

*sees a hawk and jumps to get it hooks it them falls back down with it and kills it then drags it back to the pile* whew that was hard to catch

* sniffs the air and scents a rabbit. She stalks it and pounces with a flying leap. She drags it to the pile *

[Skunkstripe]

*looks at all the prey* Eather prey is getting stupider or were just great hunters
*smeels mouse and swivles is paw uner a rock finding a mouse den and sqeckes in suprise as they all flow out of the hole and he rapidly darts after them trying to catch one*

*snags one with his claw and kills it as the other get away tail dropping he drops the tiny mouse in the heep of prey*

I say both * goes and kills a tiny vole and brings it back*

yeah. * smells squirrel and chases the creature. Re-apears with the squirrel clamped in her jaws * i could have caught this with my eyes closed!!

[Skunkstripe]

*looks at the large pile of prey think that this must be a day worth of prey*

*purrs with delight *
