Hearing commotion had brought Darkstar to the Medicine Cat den. That and the fact that she had smelt another cat in her territory. Funny, she had smelt the same odor from another cat that had sassed back to her. She growled when she saw Deathbringer, but her eyes wandered to Sparrowfur, which the narrator of this post does not know if she is still laying down or what because the author of this post was too lazy to read all nine pages of this thread. She let her eyes flick back to Deathbringer. "You again?" she asked with a hiss.

I look up. "He is just leaving. He helped save me. If he hadn't been around, I would be dead from bleeding to death." I am laying on my back and flip over to my belly now, for thoes of you too lazy to read the rest!!! (xD)

[Darkstar]

Darkstar walked over to where Sparrowfur lay. It was a shame to have to see a Queen laying there like that. "Where did you go that this happened to you?"

"I was walking along a cliff having fun and I ran toward some trees and my leg got stuck in some kind of twoleg trap. I guess it was in there to long and fell off..." I say sadly. "I'm sorry for being so mouse-brained..."

[Darkstar]

"Before you insult yourself, let me ask a question. Did you have a warrior with you, or were you alone?"

"Alone." I say, wondering what she was about to say. (Sorry i'm taking so long to reply!)

"Then you are a mousebrain," she said quietly yet stern. "I have told you all to always have another cat with you, but apparently no one listens. Hopefully this will be a warning, yet I highly doubt that at all. That would be asking too much out of this lazy clan."

"I'm sorry Darkstar..." I say and look at my paws. "I was in a really good mood and forgot about that... Good thing lots of cats were nearby! They saved me."

"You just were lucky this time," she said, almost with a sneer. "Next time you won't be so lucky. I hope everyone sees that. Life is something to be valued, and in a blink of an eye, it will disappear. You have to be ready for that. I don't think -no- I know not many cats notice these things. That is why I get so irate when mates come up. They are the 'Center of everyone's world' and then when they are gone, the cat tries to kill itself. It has happened before in this clan, or maybe it was just attempts, but that is besides the point."

"I see what you mean... I hope every cat will see what happened to me and learn from it. I will probably have to retire from a warrior and become a permanate queen and never go back to my warrior duties..." I say with a great sadness and regret.
