I limp/crawl my way over to Darkstar's den. I had alot on my mind and I needed to talk to her about some of it. I stopped right outside her den. "Darkstar? Can I come in? I would like to speek to you." I say, nervously. I would never know how Darkstar would react.

"Sure," Darkstar said groggily. She had just woken up a little while ago from much needed rest that she had missed for a few days. She straightened her self up and started to lick her pelt clean of the moss that was sticking to her.

I limp in and wait by the entrence because she might not want me in. "I have a few questions to ask. Is that ok?" I say less worried now.

Darkstar stopped in a mid-lick to look at the injured Queen. "Do you expect me to know the answer to these questions?" she asked.

"You might. I just wanted to talk to a cat who knows what she's talking about. I really want to get these off my shest." I say and slowly get up and walk father into Darkstar's den so I could talk better to her.

I sit down in front of her. "Because of my leg... Or use-to be leg, will I have to retire from my warrior duties?"

"Well, you would have a terrible time to get around, Sparrowfur," Darkstar said calmly. This wasn't a time to start snapping at the Queen, no matter how much she wanted to insult her for what she had done. "Defending yourself will be difficult too. I would prefer you to retire from warrior duties and become a full-time Queen."

I nod sadly. "I will do that Darkstar. Also, can I come to the next gathering if I am fit enough to travel there?" I say hopefully.
