She scented the air, "There is a little bit of RockClan on this side of the border, but it is so faint it could have drifted by the wind."

Wildstar narrowed her eyes staring over the boarder. "Let's just give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but keep a close eye on this boarder. I want strong scent markers on the boarder to establish our presence, though."
The leader rubbed her face (lol xD) on a rock to mark her scent, and walked away from the boarder to wait.

Wildstar padded away from the rest of the patrol into a sort of wooded area. A bit of grass was growing, and the sickly trees were blossoming a bit. The leader scented the air for anything strange...nothing. Just the pure, clean smell of the mountains and IceClan.

((male. i get asked that a lot on account of the fireclan queen thing in my siggy. However, it should have my gender in the sidebar when i post. no hard feelings))
Thunderstripe padded off haphazardly sniffing here and there. nothing was the matter so he slowly headed back, circling around in order to check more territory.

Wildstar walked back to where the patrol had been. Some of them were meandering around, checking the territory for hazards, dangers, and strangers, but they were nearby. Wildtsar announced loudly, "I haven't found anything...IceClan is looking good."

Large, round chunks of ice pelted the mountain from the sky.
