usual walk, unusual circumstances.

[Thunderstripe]

Thunderstripe padded out of camp. the sun was highest in the sky, and he always went for a walk this time if he could. the day was cool, not rainy like usual this time of New Leaf. then he scented a strange cat somewhere near the border, but he couldn't pinpoint the location. it seems as if the cat had been pacing about for a while.

[Pitch]

Pitch turned, and pressed herself against the earth. She watched the strange cat. Another rouge had told her her brother was here. Thunderstripe's white half-mask marking was away from Pitch. She did not recognize her brother.

[Thunderstripe]

Thunderstripe had identified the scent in seconds. rouge.
he padded toward a small, almost un-noticeable black smudge hiding in a bush.
"Alright rogue. i see you. get outta here before I crush you!" he called.

[Pitch]

Pitch recognized the voice. Studying the tom, she saw the marking she was looking for. "brother...." she whispered.

[Thunderstripe]

"Well? what are you waiting for?!" Thunderstripe called again, confused.
"I know that you're there..." Thunderstripe looked around to make sure it wasn't a trap. "you need to get out of here.. as deputy, i cant let you stay here without permission and you're getting pretty close to our side of the border. I'll count to three, and by then, you better leave, or tell me why your here." he said with authority.

[Pitch]

"Thunderstripe, it's me, Pitch!" the black she-cat called to the brother she had not seen in seasons.

[Thunderstripe]

"Uhh.. what? who are you exactly?" as far as Thunderstripe knew, he had never seen the strange she-cat before.

[Pitch]

Pitch shook her head. "I'm your sister." she suppressed a purr of amusement. Same 'ole TThunderstripe

[Thunderstripe]

"Excuse me, but all of my family is dead." That's what he had grown up to believe and it was unlikely for this cat be her sister.
"I mean, if you were family... that would be a relief to know im not alone in this world, but you have no proof, do you?"

[Pitch]

Pitch shook her head. "Don't you believe me?" her blue eyes searched his green ones.

[Thunderstripe]

"umm.... honestly? no. i mean, think about it, a random rogue pops out of Cloudclan knows where, and claims to be my sister. its an unlikely story you have to admit."

[Pitch]

Pitch thought long and had. "Our noses! Look, same shape, same size!"

[Thunderstripe]

"well... that's a coincidence." Thunderstripe was in denial.

[Pitch]

Pitch flattened her ears and curled her upper lip. "Did you hit your head or something? When you were six moons old, you had a crush on a cat called Snow. You mooned over her all day until Mother cuffed you over the ear and told you to stop acting like a she-cat and focus on our hunting crouch! Believe me yet?" she growled, exasperated.

[Thunderstripe]

"umm.. to be honest.. i don't even remember my mother. i have no idea where i can from, all i know is that i just appeared in the nursery one day. i vaugely remember it and everything before it was completely missing."
Thunderstripe was starting to feel alarmed.
"Look, im not sure if i believe you, but.... there's some reason i haven't run you off yet... i dunno' why... but... im giving you the benefit of a doubt alright?" Thunderstripe was buzzing with questions to the point that he felt like a kit again.
"are you just lying to me? gonna' leave me like everyone else? you just trying to hit my soft spot?" he got a little defensive.
