(Well it's all up to them! Just do your best and IF Darkstar dies, Squirrellpelt will become leader, and then, you could have a chance at debuty. Then if Squirrellpelt dies, you would become leader. AND THEN, you would obviously choose your favorite mentor, Shadowwing to be your debuty lol, jk)

(Squirrelpelt actually would not get to choose the deputy. Squirrelpelt may put a list together, but Jaimie would choose the new deputy or leader, depending what Squirrelpelt would decide to choose.
Edit: And to answer your question, Firelight, I'm Jaimie's friend in real life. Initially, she picked three friends in real life that would be able to lead the clans because she trusted them. She, obviously, took the fourth clan.)
