Afterlife woke up. The long noise was still going. He noticed Bramblepaw sleeping. He checked his side and found it fully healed. Then, there was a bright white shimmering in front of him. A beautiful white she-cat wlked out. Her eyes were exactly like Afterlife's. It seemed impossible but..."Mother?" he asked weakly.
"Yes, Afterlife. I am Lightbender. Your mother."
Afterlife savored this for a moment and then asked shakily, "Why are you here?"
"You mean you didn't notice me before? Amazing."
"You--you were here before?"
"I've been watching you your entire life. Ever since you went from a 'kit to a 'paw all the way to now."
"Who--who is my father?"
"Your father...I'd rather not speak of him. He is not with CloudClan."
Afterlife was about to say something, but he held his tongue. Lightbender padded forward. She touched Afterlife's broken paw with her nose. "Remember, I will be watching you." she meowed, her voice dimming with every word as she blinked out. Afterlife had just met his mother.

Bramblepaw blinked awake and yawned. Afterlife was sleeping shallowly, and looked as though he was dreaming of something. He mumbled something that sounded like 'mother', but she wasn't sure. Bramblepaw decided not to wake him up, so she got up and stretched. "Fernpaw?" Bramblepaw whispered to her friend.

Afterlife woke up with a start. "Bramblepaw?" he asked shakily. "Are you still here?"

"Yes," Bramblepaw asked, confused. "Why do you ask?" (do i have to tell spiritstar that i'm a warrior? who comes up with our warrior names?)

"I--I think I just spoke with CloudClan." Afterlife replied. He got to his paws. Shocked, he realized that his paw no longer hurt.
((Alright, Bramblepaw[face, leaf, thorn, pelt, etc.] I'm going to be idle or offline for a really long time after tomorrow. I'm gonna miss you -hugs-))

Bramblepaw gasped. "A-are you sure?" Bramblepaw only knew of leaders and medicine cats speaking with CloudClan. "And I've been meaning to ask you, how did your paw heal so fast?" She wondered if CloudClan healed it for him.

((I originally wanted Fallenstar, but I'd have to be a leader and I love all of the leaders too dang much to try to overthrow them. And wouldn't a bramble path hurt?))
"How else would I have met my mother?" Afterlife asked. "And...I think my mother healed it. I had no idea that the lines between Dream and Reality were quite so thin."
((Yeah. I'm gonna be on for a little bit, but when I'm gone, I'm gone! Until I get back, that is.))

Bramblepaw thought about what Afterlife had said. "You actually probably did speak with CloudClan when I think about it..." Bramblepaw meowed. "But it's not like I didn't believe you or anything." Bramblepaw paused before continuing. "If your mother healed your wound, it MUST have been CloudClan!"
