Lost in a Fountain of Memories....

[Ivycloud]

A cool summer breeze ruffled Ivycloud's silky sliver and black spotted fur. The air was fairly warm and the winds made it peaceful. Ivy's slender body was placed upon a high ledge in a small clearing. She sat on the very end so she could over see the long fall below her. Down you would fall to nothingness, as it seemed. The queen's blue gaze was focused on the sky. A beautiful sight. Clouds danced above covering the blinding rays of the sun. A limp figure of an untouched mouse lay at her paws. The air had a crisp smell of leaves. With one glance at her you would see pleasure, but on the inside pain was over taking. Guilt and sadness gnawed at her like a badger. She felt so useless, so out of place. Like a fish swimming up stream. Yet, what could se do about it. There was no way she would leave Iceclan, that would lead to more pain and regret. No, leaving was not the answer. She wondered what it would have been like if she had went with her brother, Milo to live in twoleg place. She could still remember his words. “Oh Ivy! Please don’t leave! Come with me! I can’t bare to see you part!” The words burned at her heart. But she knew she could not leave Wildwind. She wanted to grow up in the clans and become what her sister was, a brave warrior of Iceclan. But now Ivy did not feel brave or strong, but fragile and weak. And Fox? Her other brother? She dreaded to think but would Deadthclan been the right choice. Her brother always was there for her and protected Ivy all the way till Wildwind came and took over his spot. But how could she kill? There was no way she would do so! She dearly missed her brothers. Snow and Mint, her sisters, were not so close to her, and Ivycloud never wished she were with them. Greenleaf her other sister was in Iceclan too, that also made her feel better. Ivy closed her eyes and laid down her head. What was she doing? She belonged to Iceclan and always would be! A sigh wept over her face when she though of her mother. An evil soul as Ivy wanted to recall. Wildwind had told her stories of Flower, her mom as a kit. How she was left alone in the forest by her mother. But also Ivy recalled Wildwind was saved by Flower. Flower was long dead now. Now she though of her father. Who was he? Not even Wildwind knew. Her father would always remain a mystery. She would just believe Darkblood was her father. Though that made her wince. He was a killer, a murder! How could she allow that! Ivy was so confused. Nothing made sense! Why was her past so wrong? Wildwind told her she would one day get over it but Ivycloud knew this was a lie. For Wildwind still dreaded this just like her. She raised her head and opened her eyes. The clouds had gone and the sun twinkled over her. She blinked to ajust to the light then stared at her paws. She wanted to know her father. She had to know her father! Maybe he could help her! But she did not even the slightest clue how to do it. She longed for another cat to come along so she could talk to them. But how could she say she wanted to find a cat she never knew. That might even be dead! “What do I do?” She mumbled and rolled onto her back. “Useless! That’s all I am! I mean nothing to this clan…” She whispered. She knew this was wrong but her heart sank as she believed it! She begged for some cat to find her hear so she could forget what had just happened.

-rainwave- I smelled ivyclouds nursery scent. I padded over to her and sat by her. My muzzle was greying with age but my fur stil held a glamorous shine. My eyes were as blind as ever but I sat with her. "ivycloud.. Do you believe that everything in life happens for a reason?" I certain thought that but I didn know if it was true or not. Sure somethings in life were unexpected, like me being blinded or being betrayed. But that had only brought me closer to my mate, sunclaw. But I havnt been able to see the wonderful apprentices or anything else but I still had my friends. I had never actually met ivycloud but I had heard a lot about her. I had missed being in the nurseryfrom when I was a kit and the apprentices den from being an apprentice. But i couldnt shake the feeling that I was almost done being a warrior. It was about time for this old cat to become an elder. I needed another opinion so I waited for ivycloud to answer me.

[Silverkit]

Silvernight sees the two cats talk and understands her dreadful life, ever since the Clan heard about Fox trying to kill her and Wildwind the clan hasn't been comepting with her and her sister. Silvernight wanted to go over there and tell Ivycloud that it will be alright but he couldn't be sure of it. Wildwind told him that Fox will not stop until Wildwind and her sister join Deathclan. Silvernight had to do something and quick; Silvernight must finish this and now, because if Fox killed or if Wildwind and Ivycloud joined Deathclan the clan would be devastated and it wouldn't be the same again. HE had to kill Fox before he kills them. Silvernight walks over to Ivycloud and Rainwave. "Ivycloud i'm going to do it. If you die the clan will never be the same, Im going to find Fox and finish him the clan can't handle another death especially a queen and a elder. I will hunt him downand finish this madness forever." Silvernight says as he turns to the queen.

[Ivycloud]

Ivy dipped her head to Phantomfrost. "Sometimes... Usually I do... But at times I can't be sure...." She quickly turned to Slivernight and jumped to her paws in fury. "NO! He is my brother! And will be not matter what! If you kill him I swear by the name of Cloudclan you are in for it!" She snarled. "You won't kill my brother!" She hissed again. "Wildwind would kill you if you did so..." She said more softly but still feisty. "If he joins Cloudclan so will you, and I can make sure of that...." Anger swept over her. No! Fox would not die! She loved him no matter what! "You won't kill him... I will join Milo in teh life of a kittypet if you do...."

[Silverkit]

"Well what in Cloudclan name can I do you want me to just walk up to Fox saying, Hey stop hunting your sisters, and then jsut go on with it if you die the clan will change you too Wildwind. I don't want any of you to die we're a family and that is what family do for each other."

[Rainwave]

"father, ivycloud settle down." I was confused with what they were talking about. "can we sort this out calmly?" I didn't like fighting but I still had spirit and I liked helping other cats. "now what is the problem?" I hoped they could talk it out without starting a fight. I had been wrong before but i hoped i was right this time. I waited patiently for a calm answer. My ears twitched. I blinked my sightless eyes. I continued thinking about my choice of duty.

[Silverkit]

"Ivycloud is regecting me from saveing her life so is Wildwind."

[Ivycloud]

Ivy ignored the other comments. "Exactly! You explained for me when you said 'I don't want any of you to die we're a family and that is what family do for each other!' Fox is also family! I don't want him to die! That is what family do!" She hissed.

[Silverkit]

"Ok i spoke my words but what should I do I just cant do what I jsut said he'll egnore it and still fight you."

[Rainwave]

I looked confused. "maybe she has a reason." I was being practical but I didn't seem to help. My personality was kind as caring, which I was trying to be. As the wind blew through my pelt, I felt young again and I wanted to sort this out. "well why don't you explain your stories." i suggested.

[Silverkit]

"Its like you want to die guys why?

[Ivycloud]

Ivy twitched her ears. "What do you mean? I just want my brother safe! He did everything for me as a kit! I mean everything! He practically was there every time I needed him! I-I want to talk to him! I must! I have to!"

[Silverkit]

"Yeah good luck with that but Wildwind remember when Darkclaw died, how did you feel when he laid in the Medicine Cat's den and died right infront of you how just think what would happen to DEadclaw if you died. and Ivycloud if one of your kits, Warriors died how would you feel that is the same way they would if you died id feel the same too if Flowerstorm died, shes my mother! and i would do anything to protect her, and im willing to risk my own life to save one of you from your own death."

"I don't want to die. It's just that indont know where my place in this clan is anymore. No cat pays atrension to me besides wildwind." I knew that wasn't entirely true but it made sense tonke at the time. "I'm useless now."
