The Meeting

[Ivycloud]

Ivycloud stood at the camp entrance. A few cats shuffled by her but took no interest. She peeked out and looked back to her clan mates. She wanted to make sure no one saw her slip out. As the cats in the clearing began to part one by one, Ivy made her escape. She crouched under bracken and hid behind trees. She relied on her sents. She could not be caught. This was tricky. Her white pelt would give her away easily is someone was nearby. What would happen if she got caught? Say she was just out for a hunt? Ah, Easy lie, It would do! She heard a rustling noise and jumped into a pointy bush. She winced but stayed hidden. She sighed as she noticed it was merely a squirrel. She struggled to get free from the thorns. None in her pads! That was good. One thorn was stuck behind her ear, On her back, two on her hind leg, and one on her tail. She quickly pulled the one on her tail, hind leg, and back, but the thorn on her ear would have to stay for now. She began tracking back down the hard slope. Why had they agreed to meet so far away? She bounded down the rocky mountain. It took much effort and time. By the time she reached the bottom it was Sun Down. Ivy sighed. It was hard to see at night, but she kept on running. She finally stopped at the edge of a twoleg road. The queen inhaled deeply. She took a small step than darted forward. A monster suddenly popped of of nowhere. Ivy yowled and jumped for dear life. The car swirved past her, just missing her tail. Ivycloud sat panting on the other side. Was all this really worth it? She got up and pushed the startle into the back of her mind. Ivycloud froze. A figure stepped out in front of her. "You came." It meowed. The sliver she-cat nodded. "Of course. Now. Why did you want me?" She asked softly. "I am here for no harm... Unless harm come to me..." Ivy shifted her paws. "Y-yes... You will be fine, No attacks. I left alone." The cat stared at Ivy for a few seconds before speaking. "Why do you trust I will not kill you now?" Ivycloud tilted her head. "Well, You are kin." "Yes, that is so..." "Now if I may ask again, why am I here?" The tabby tom relaxed his broad shoulders. "Why are you here?" The queen paused. "Well, I am here because you told me to come." "No! Why are you here?" The tom repeated. "Um..." Ivy shuddered. "I want you to explain to me..." "Why should I explain when you know?" Ivy paused. "What do you mean I know?" The otehr cat was silent. "Fox!" The rouge raised his head. "Think!" Ivy closed her eyes. "Think of the time when our mother left us in the forest that one day! The day she found us." Fox hissed. Ivy lowered her gaze. "The day Wildwind came into out lives." "The day I was forgotten, The day I was replaced by that piece of crowfood." Fox snarled. "Oh Fox! I am so sorry! I did not know!" Fox sighed. "Save your breath. I left because you did not need me to protect you anymore. I was the oldest of out litter. I wanted to protect you all, but when Wildwind came along..." Ivy stood shocked. "S-she took that job away fro you..." Fox nodded. "Will you ever forgive her?" Ivy purred. Fox froze. "Why would I?" Ivy dipped her head. "Because she did not know what wrong she did..." Fox looked at his paws, ready to snap at his sister, but he kept it in. "No, I won't...But...I won't take revenge on her in this way..." Ivycloud smiled. "You mean you won't try to..." Fox shrugged. "No, I won't kill her... But she must understand why I did what I did! And no attack shall go my way from an Iceclan cat." Fox hissed. Ivy pressed her muzzle into her brother's side. She had not done so sense they were kits. "I will tell them..." Ivy perked up her head. "Ha! I told Slivernight I could change you!" Fox cocked his head. "What do you mean..." Ivy sighed. "Long story..." Fox stood up and stretched his from paws. "You know you won't be able to make it back to Iceclan now... Its to dark, I won't allow you to go when all these badgers and foxes are out!" Ivy purred. "Thats the old Fox!" Fox nodded. "Come on, there is a cave right over here." Fox flicked his tail to the right. "We can camp in there and you can return to your Clan at Sun High!" Ivycloud nodded and fallowed Fox into teh cave.

wolfeyes looked around camp, he had wanted to talk to wildwind and ivycloud but he couldnt find ivycloud. he got scent of her at the camp entrance and sgihed, she must be out hunting. he shrugged and followd her scent, by moonhigh he was at the clan border. "what the?" he followed a little more, just over the border, happy it wasnt on another clans side,that or the clan didnt patrol here. there werent any other scents so she couldnt have been attacked, he didnt want to go to far to follow her but he waited. he lay with his tail going back in forth at the border, he lay in between some tree roots. "where could she have gone?" then he remembered her talking about fox to silvernight, he ran past the border, her scent was becoming more fresh, until he thought he almost heard her voice "ivycloud?!" he smelled another cta to, rouge, he growled thinking she might have chased him, but then remembered hsi scent wasnt in iceclan territory. he kept following ivyclouds scent hopign to find her and the rouge

[Shadefrost]

Shadefrost had woken in the nursery to find only one other queen there and plenty of sleeping kits. Ivycloud was gone, and her scent trail reeked of nervousness. Naturally, Shadefrost had walked right out of the nursery, mouth opened slightly as she followed the smell. It wove through the rocks and sparse undergrowth, going on seemingly forever. Shadefrost's legs were beginning to ache by the time she reached the thunderpath, completely silent. Ivycloud's scent trail ended here. "Oh, great CloudClan," she muttered to herself, pacing around the edge nervously as she scanned the other side for any sign of the gray queen. "Is this really worth it?" Maybe not.

...But maybe so. Ivycloud was her old friend, a fellow queen. If she was in trouble, Shadefrost wanted to help. And even if it wasn't worth it, Shadefrost's natural curiosity would have pushed her forward to find her friend. And to find out just what was going on with Ivycloud. So Shadefrost crossed the thunderpath, clearing the end without a problem. She opened her mouth, letting the scents enter her glands. The rank stench of the thunderpath covered almost everything, but then she smelled something... different. A strange cat scent. A rogue's cat scent.

Shadefrost was very apprehensive, now. Her ears flattened and she raced over to the spot, sniffing wildly. Ivycloud's scent and the rogue's scent mingled; they had encountered each other. And then they had gone together. Her ears pricked as she heard voices, and she crept towards a large mound of rocks. A hole gaped in the center, and she could just barely see Ivycloud and the shadow of a strange cat near each other. She crouched behind a rock, ears pricked up as she tried to catch what they were saying. The tones were neutral. Ivycloud was here of her own accord. But why was she meeting a rogue?!

Silvernight heard what was going on as the voices of cats awoke him. His stomach hurt again he needed something to eat. Silvernight rised onto his legs and exits the Medicine Cat's Den and heads for the Fresh-kill pile. He picks up a vole then turns to the Nursery and walked towards it. As Silvernight entered the Nursery he noticed that Ivycloud wasn't there. He looked around; dropped the vole and limped out the nursery. //Great where could she have gone to this time?// He walked to the next den the Warrior's Den and looked around, no Ivycloud. He went to the Apprentice's den. //Lets look here// no Ivycloud.

Minutes have pased as Silvernight checked the whole camp but could not find Ivycloud anywhere. Silvernight thinks to himself. //Oh, Cloudclan where could she be?// He went back to the Nursery searching for her scent. Luckily he picked it up. He followed the scent all the way to the camp Entrance. //She couldn't have gone out of camp, is this a stale scent?// But no it was as fresh as the mouse on top the Fresh-kill pile. // Why is she going out of camp.?// He sniffed again and noticed Wolfeye's scent too! So is Shadefrost's scent. //What in Cloudclan's name is going on here cats leaving Wolfeyes Shadefrost and Ivycloud!// He turned to the Medicine Cat's Den knowing he should go back, Silvernight couldn't go he had to find Ivycloud. He turned back and walked out of camp following the scent.

Later Silvernight was at the Iceclan border. //This must be a mistake this scent seems that it leads to Rouge Territory. Who could she be going too?// Silvernight sits and thinks to himself where she is going . . . . . . . . . or meeting. //Fox!// He knew exactly where she was going thinking she is mad. Silvernight follows the trail running. He legs started to hurt with all the running tracing the scent to Deathclan camp. He slows down as he picks up Ivycloud's scent strongly, she was nearby. Silvernight peeked through the bushes to see Ivycloud and Fox talking. Silvernight listened.

Ivy pricked her ears. A faint rustling could be heard outside of the cave. She turned to Fox, for her seemed to hear it too. "They have Iceclan sent..." Fox mumbled. Ivy dipped her head. "They must of noticed I was gone..." She took a small pawstep toward the entrance then walked out. She paused. "Slivernight? Wolfeyes? Shadefrost? What are you doing here?" She obviously knew why they were here. And there response most likely 'Why are YOU here.' She dipped her head to Fox. "They found me...." She mumbled. She watched at Fox approached, claws unsheltered. Ivy nudged him. Ivy waited for someone to make a remark, mainly Slivernight so she could boast in his face. Ah, That will be fun! She sat down and waited for one of them to reply.

Silvernight rises out of the bushes and looks at Fox. Silvernight breahtes in from his nose and out his mouth. Silvernight knew that a battle will approach. "Fox please why do you want to kill Wildwind?" Silvernight asks, his voice was timid. HE stared into Fox's eyes. "Well. why?!" Silvernight waits for an answer. HE unsheats his claws ready for whatever comes to him.

Fox shifted his head. "I won't attack..." He mumbled. "And that though has long passed me... Ivy can tell you teh whole story back at your camp." Ivycloud smiled. She had found her chance. "I TOLD you Slivernight! I have changed him! HA! In your face!" She giggled. "Told you! Told you! I am not crazy! Hahahahaha!" She purred. "Ok, I am done..." She mewed at last. Fox stared at her sightly. "Are you SURE you are not crazy...?" Ivy smiled. "Ye- WAIT! What is that supposed to mean!?!?" Ivy coked her head. Fox paused. "Eh, Nothing..." Ivy shrugged. "Anyway... I guess you are gonna take me back to camp, huh?" She sighed and gazed at Fox. Wonderign if she should ask if he would come with them.

Silvernight stares at him and sheats his claws back. "Are you sure?" I ask looking at the cat. I turn to Ivycloud. "Come'on lets go." I tell her as I walk away. I turn to the bushes and look at Wolfeyes and Shadefrost. "Its ok you two come out." I turn back to Fox. "You do one screw up and ill make sure you never would've done so." I threaten as I turn back and walk back to the camp starting to limp again

wolfeyes almost launched himself at fox when he came out with unsheathed claws, but didnt. now after silvenight,fox and ivyclouds conversation he spoke up. "i dont know do you want to come back to camp? it is late, easy for a badger or fox to attack us.." he looked around his surrounding. "you know, maybe we should leave...." the place creeped hm out, montsers roaring and unfamilier trees,bushes, everything. he heard a few barks and almost yolwed but intead whispered "dogs!" he unsheathed his claws ready to dig them in a dog if he had to. "get in the cave!"

"Wolfeyes stop ok?" I ask the cat turning to her. "Look we've been out right now for about half the night we need to get soem sleep, you know we'll make camp somewhere for the night." I look around. "Ivycloud on your way here did you manage to come by any caves of a clearing anywhere?" Silvernight asks the queen as he looks around in the dark with the moonlight's help he can see just a little.

(oh) Silvernight scents the dogs comeing. "Ivycloud get in the cave." Silvernight orders. Silvernight turns to Fox. "Can you help us here Fox?" Silvernight asked staring at the rouge.

" no wait! im sure theres three or four of them, silvernight help me with one, ivy and fox can work together and shadefrost, erm..fight with me and silvernight!"

a huge dog came racing at them 2 or 3 other behind it aorund the same size, there was one very small one, an easy target, to easy

"silvernight lets get the lead dog!" he pounced at it, claws fully extended

the dog tried to dodged, but got smal scrath on his side, it quickly turned and bit on wolfeye's tail

wolfeyes yowled in pain and was happy when he clawed the dogs nos,e mkaing it let go of his tail to howl in pain

Silvernight's leg was still wounded he couldn't fight much. A dog came running towards him. He ducked as it jumped over him. Silvernight kicked the dog's belly making it fly. (Holy crap flying dog LOL) it fell dead on its head. He turned to Ivycloud. "Quickly go go go!" I order as another dog come towards him. he strikes the dogs nose knocking it down.

*wolfeyes jumped on his dogs back, it shook its head, bad move it made wolfeyes dig his claws into the dogs neck to hold on. it howled in pain, while so wolfeyes clawed its neck multible times, before he fell off the dog. the dog picked him up and shook him, it let go and wolfeyes flew a fox legnth, he didnt move. the dog trotted voer to him to make the last move. (ahem someone save me!!)
