(well ds download play is how to start it, then wi-fi takes place. if u were wondering why i am telling/asking this, i just wanted to know if u want to race/ fight/ ect. but that will only work if were both online now...)

(with some games like mario cart, you dont need it. but otherons like, um... pokemon? u have to have the game. anyway if you wanted to play aginst eachother... when were n, it would be fun! or not..)
