Spam took a small step back. "I'm a housecat. My name is Spam," she introduced. "Y- you're not going to hurt me, are you?" she pleaded. Spam wondered if trying to look tough would make her look less vulnerable. "C- cause if you do, my daddy's gonna get you!' she threatened. Spam hadn't seen her father ever since she opened her eyes. That was the one time he visited, to see his kits. She hadn't seen him ever since then.

Spam pictured herself as a rogue. Living in the woods, without a nice warm nest, having to hunt for food- she couldn't bear it. "Why don't you just find yourself a housefolk?" she suggested. "Just make yourself look hungry and I'm sure one will take you in, or at least give you food."
