Fernpelt snapped her head around to glare at Greycloud. "Get me some of that coltsfoot. Not that one, a little over. yes, there. Now the red berries," Fernpelt growled orders at him until she had her juniper berries and coltsfoot. This would help her breathe better. "Eat those," she commanded Featherbreeze, still dumping snow on her to staunch the flow of blood.

Fernpelt snorted. Weak stomach, she thought to herself. "Go and find some cobwebs in the elder's den. Hurry!" she meowed.

he nodded and ran into the elders den
a moment later he ran in with a fair amount of cobwebs. "here" he looked at featherbreeze's wound, still bleeding...thankfully he was getting used to blood, noone could be mad at him for having a weak stomach, thsi was the first time he ever saw blood before..

"What can I do to help?" asked Bramblepath as she watched Featherbreeze and Fernpelt.

"Organize the herbs. I can't stand messes," she snarled, still focusing on Featherbreeze. "Stick those cobwebs where it's still bleeding. Okay, grab that golden flower, the marigold. Hurry!" she gave a sharp command to Greycloud. She was gathering some more herbs for a poultice.

Bramblepath started re-organizing the herbs as neatly and quickly as possible.

Fernpelt turned on Greycloud, a light in her eyes that replaced the dimness that had been there beforehand. "I am never ordered in my own den. If you lack respect, go and join a band of rogues! You have no knowledge that I have, but if you had the wits of a kit you would see I am doing all in my power as a medicine cat! Now get OUT!" Fernpelt yowled, her patience run short. She turned back to her patient, the herbs shouldv'e been helping her to breathe, not the other way around.

Fernpelt snorted at the tail that quickly disappeared out of her den. If anything, Greycloud had just proven the point that she had discovered only an hour before. And now he was trying to intimidate her with...with what? A bunch of nonsense in a furious hiss. If he cared about featherbreeze in any way, he should know better than to anger the one who was going to save her life. "Featherbreeze, are there any other symptoms," she briskly asked the she-cat. After all, it wasn't her fault that her friend was so rude.

Featherbreeze remembered a part when she hit a sharp broken branch on her fall down that had hurt the in side of her lungs. her lungs were taking in blood and fast. "i hit a branch and i cant breath" she said quickly coughing up more blood.

Fernpelt groaned, no wonder the herbs were doing little to help. She had overlooked the throat injury! She gathered a heap of cobwebs and snow and pressed it onto the wound, hoping the blood would stop flowing into her lungs. Now Featherbreeze's fate was up to her will to live and CloudClan.

Bramblepath finally fixed the pile of herbs. "Is there anything else I can do?" she asked quietly- wanting to help Fernpelt help her friend, but not wanting to distract her from her deep thoughts that Fernpelt seemed to be having right now as she gazed at Featherbreeze's neck.
