New "Security" Guidelines in Airports? O.o

Just curious to see what everyone else here thinks. I'm talking about the pat-downs and full-body scans. It's terrifying. I can't even count the amount of articles I've read written by people who have been sexually molested from the pat-downs, or the amount of photos posted on the Internet from the full-body scans.

Yes, these are done by adults of the same gender, but lots of times those adults are homosexuals or pedophiles. D8 At this point my parents won't even let me travel by plane.


The sick part is, the whole thing is completely pointless. Metal detectors pick up metal- there's no need for the full-body scans. Dogs can take the place of pat-downs. They're certainly better and more accurate. Did you know that people place drugs in a tube and stuff it up their butt holes? They don't do anus checks, do they? 'o.o Dogs could sniff that out easily, in half the time. And yet the government just ignores that fact.

What is this? Really? Is the government really going as far as to stare at our naked bodies and allow people to feel us when there is an alternative that DOESN'T result in a quarter of the people being sexually molested- one that they refuse to acknowledge?

I've never been on a plane, but I still think it's dumb, wrong and not needed, not that way anyway.

This is why I refuse to ever ride a plane.

The thought of being touched terrifies me, whether it be sexually, or just on the elbow.

And, yeah, some people are allergic to dogs, so that could result in lawsuits.

But yeah, WTF? Why would they hire people to touch you? Like, as others have said, some of those "Guards" are Homosexuals, and/or Pedophiles. Does the government think that doing this will make a HUGE difference? Yeah, in how many people will get raped and touched.

As of the dog problem. I read there was this thing, it's a huge almost rat like thing. It trains for nine months to detect land mines in Africa. Don't you think we could do the same thing? I'm not hoping for any trouble, so I'll drop it at that.
