{100 words an up, people. Specifically I want queens to post here.) Beechstar was the one and only king of Treeclan, but their were many queens. But this king never visited his queens. It was time for a visit, something more rare then turning a rock into gold.
If you put some thought to it, a clan was like a kingdom, a king, Beechstar, the king's main adviser, Mintleaf, the queens, Harrowingpride, Oakspirit, Leopardfire, the servants, apprentices, the people, warriors, the children, the kits and the elders.
A pretty nice kingdom right?
Beechstar stuck his nose into the nursery, smelling it to check if all the kits were distracted. He didn't want to be tackled or his tail to be bitten or whatever the kits did.

Spiderkit yawned as she awoke from her nap. She knew her mother wouldn't mind if she played quietly in the Nursery so not to wake any of the sleeping kits. She tottered off to find something to play with. Just before Beechstar came in she found a feather. Pawing it into the air she got onto her back and batted at it with her all four paws.
As Beechstar entered the den she continued playing. Thinking it was just a warrior bringing in prey for one of the queens. Only when a light leaf-bare breeze blew his scent to her, did she leap to her paws and snatch up her feather, 'Hello Beechstar! Look a what I found!" Only her words came out in a mumble as she tried to speak around the pretty silver gray feather.

(>> And so i post)
The golden she-cat had been sleeping. Not sound asleep, for her kits where awake, along with everyone else's. In fact, it was only a nap, not really proper sleeping, and the reason for it was having to chase Moonkit around for a good quarter of the day and still watch to others, since no one else seemed to be around half the time. They where of course, there was just so many kits it did not seem like it. It seemed like she had to make sure none of them died all by herself. And so, a light nap she took. Or almost took since it seemed like no time later she heard a muffled noise and smelled Beechstar. Her first though was what the heck is he doing here? he never visited, never said hi, and she was not at all sure what she thought about him, and she had no clue what he thought about her, though he was almost curtain he had the common disposition of most of the clan and though she never should have become a Queen, being the wonderful warrior she was. And being so huge is size.
She blinked sleepily, not wanted to get up, but narrowing her eyes in the direction of the entrance. Yep, there was his nose. Stupid cat, disturbing her nap. Even the youngest kits of the nursery knew to NEVER disturb Leopardfire when she was napping. She woke up quickly, and stopped being cranking VERY slowly. She would snap at a kit for breathing to loud if she did not get all of her sleep. And Beechstar woke her up. Well, Umbrakit woke her up, but she was only making an non-understandable greeting to Beechstar. "What do you want Beechstar?" She snapped sleepily "You never visit"

{ sorry if none of my word editing doesn't work. I'm on my iPod touch.} Beechstar didn't care about Umbrakit's feather. He simply but gently pushed her along. I took a reststop next to Leopardfire by laying down. "So had any kits lately?" I asked her with a flick of my Ginger tabby tail. Beechstar's eyes were relaxed and showed no fear. What was he doing? Beechstar decided to get more comfortable and flipped back and laid on his spine. Letting his hind legs and his tail dangle lifelessly in the air.

Spiderkit's ears drooped at the cold resonce from her leader, was this really the cat she looked up to? Saddly she sat her pretty gray feather and went off one of the corners, her tail dragging along the ground. She didn't really know any of the other kits in the Nursery, so she normally hung out by herself. Curling up in the farthest corner away from them, she sat her head down on her paws. Spiderkit didn't want to sleep again, she was wide awake she she contented with staring out side at the snow gently falling down.
She wished she wasn't so small, or annoying. Maybe then the older cats would pay her some attention.

She. Was. Ticked. Majorly. Did Beechstar rule the world, no. so why the heck was he acting like it? She had not gotten enough sleep and it was showing. no to mention he just brushed right past Umbrakit, ignored her question, and layed down. And he asked her if she had any kits lately. Rude much? she thought, her sharp green eyes lowering to slits. "Why should you care? You brushed off Umbrakit like she was a flee!" She snapped, not moving from her nest, but now very much awake. She was not in the mood for others cats that had no reason to be in here to be in here. She wanted others to leave her alone and she wanted it to stay that way. every time she taught all the kits to let her sleep some idiot came in. "If you are not going to be helpful go away" She snapped.

The calico was watching over the kits while Leopardfire slept. They were a handful, and her friend and fellow mother was quite sleep deprived. Oakspirit was keeping an eye on Harrowingpride’s Umbrakit when she saw the nose. Probably Beechstar’s. The tom hardly visited, and he wasn’t the father of any of the kits, unless Leopardfire or Harrowingpride had mothered his kits, which Oakspirit didn’t think was possible, since Leopardfire argued too much, and Harrowingpride was pretty busy as it was. Oakspirit was silent as he walked into the den, and went to talk to Leopardfire. Bad idea. Oakspirit couldn’t help but purr in amusement at Leoparfire’s irritation. Finally, she felt the need to intervene. “Alright, Leopardfire. Go back to sleep. I’ll talk to Beechstar.”

Beechstar's ears lauded flat on his head. His amber eyes turning soft, like he was sad. He hadn't knoticed his jerkness towards Umbrakit. "I-I..." I meowed, stuttering on my words. All I wanted was a friend. I stood up and my tail was dragging, I had been ignoring Umbrakit lately and she was the only kit that had really liked me. "I'm sorry for bothering you." I said back to Leopardfire with my back to her, sulking. I stood up again, not ever meeting the gaze of Oakspirit. I just flicked her gently with my tail, letting her know that I knew that she was there, reassuring her.
But then I stopped at the entrance with my ears perked again. "Umbrakit?" I said calling the kits name with my back to all of them.

She twitched her ears and stood up. Spiderkit is most definatly an obediant young kit, and always comes when she is called. But even if she is a kit, she can still get her feelings hurt. She looked up at him with her big baby blue eyes, "Yes, Beechstar?" Her voice was thick with hurt. The cat she looked up to completly ignored her. Now what. Was he going to sneer in her face? Looking down she felt the tears stream wetly down her face. Sniffling slightly she refused to look him in the eyes. [/blockquote]

Crap. Darn everything. She tries to get a nap in, and a wanting to be liked young leader comes in and she snaps at him. Serves him right, sneers the little voice in the back of her head that popped up when ever she did not get enough sleep, he should have just stayed out of the nursery. And then there was Oakspirit on the other side, telling her to go back to sleep. As Beechstar walked dejectedly away she tried to feel sorry for him, but the little voice made it difficult. She shot a grumpy glace at Oakspirit and muttered under her breath, though loud enough to hear "like you're any better when you are awoken. And I'm not sleepy any more" that last part was a wine. She looked over at where Beechstar was and called "Come back later. I'll apologize then" and rolled over to stare at the wall of the nursery. She was not one for cheer when tired, that was for sure.

Oakspirit wasn't too happy that Beechstar avoided her gaze. She was sensitive that way, especially when she was only trying to help. Leopardfire, well, one could get used to her constant erm, briskness, but Oakspirit still hated to see others' misery. She was delighted to see her leader taking an interest in the kits. Briefly she wondered if he actually was the father of any little ones. It was hard to tell, since Harrowingpride was too busy and Leopardfire was hard for Oakspirit to talk to, since the older cat was so grumpy most of the time, and Oakspirit feared her a bit.

{ok, since Umbrakit quit, I won't answer her back.} Beechstar looked back at Leopardfire with a small, but warming kitty cat smile. He nodded and looked over at Oakspirit now; saying in my gaze;'Come on'. He saw that she looked a little mad and disapointed. What did I do? Beechstar raised a eye brow and shrugged.
He padded out the den, waiting for Oakspirit to come out and talk to him. Beechstar didn't have any kin, or kits. He was the more independant type. He ruined it with Leopardfire, he knew about her personality so that's why he asked her a stupid question, he was nervous around her.
Who knows were Beechstar came from and why would Spiritstar pick him to take after her, instead of Minleaf? That question ran in his head, he had heard so many cats say that. Why not Mintleaf? His pelt twicthed in anger; Mintleaf was happy to stay deputy, right?, Was all he could think.
If Cloudclan would have wanted her, they would have picked her. Beechstar narrowed his eyes in hate and disgust. Cloudclan had only visited him a few times so far. "Good," he muttered, "thats all they need."
Beechstar was a small cat, but big enough to lead. One of the reasons why he didn't like Rockclan so much;'Too big.' was what he would always say when he saw a Rockclan cat. He didn't have any hate problems....yet.

She had never really understood why cats where so scared of her. Really, they where the people that put those standards there in the first place. She, first of all, looked intimidating. she was huge, defiantly for a female. most cats had to look up at her. And of course, most had expectations of her. To be a warrior, to be the best, to be strong. In other words, she was set up to rule. And so she became stubborn, moody, and she got a reputation cats got scared of. Why was everyone scared of her? Gentleheart had never been scared of her! Why should they be? She rolled her eyes and stood up. She evade the entrance, witch Beechstar had just stepped out off, should she follow him with Oakspirit? eh, Leopardfire padded out of the door and Glanced at the two. "Can someone tell me why everyone seems scared of me?" She asked.
