Hm. Yes, well, I figured that they were no longer living here...or alive in general.

Ironic, sort of. When the pack asked me to become one of them, I half-heartedly joined. I didn't know if I wanted to remain a loner or travel in a pack, but I figured that it had more advantages than disadvantages. However, my heart was never with the pack. I always traveled at a clear distance with them, and tended to hang out with the stragglers and rival pack, at times, too. I knew every single wolf in the forest-what they wanted, what they were like-but myself. It was then that it occurred to me...who am I?
So I went off on my own, in hopes of discovering the truth. What was my personality? How was I viewed by others? How did I want to be viewed by others? What did I want out of life? Pups? Leadership? Claimed lives? Just plain happiness...?
Well, I traveled, but discovered nothing. And now that I return, besides not knowing myself, I don't know any wolf here, any packs, or anything, really. Except for you two.
