Koipaw was sitting near a particularly thick clump of trees, watching the birds overhead in the cold winter light. Then, as a finch soared over in another direction, her eyes followed it and she noticed it flew over the head of Whippaw.
Koipaw, needing someone to talk to, strolled over casually. "Hi Whippaw. How's it going?"

(GAH! *head/desk* I deleted it, though...)
"Fine, I guess," Koipaw said, sitting next to him. "Maybe there will be something to do around here when we find out more about IceClan..." Her tail twitched as she thought of Wildstar, looking exhausted when she had come to their camp.

(This should take place after the training session, so we're not breaking the rules. They say no "location-jumping.") "You think so?" Koipaw asked. "Well...you do have a point. I feel pretty bad for her, though...do you think Beechstar did the right thing to reject her offer?"

Koipaw thought for a few seconds, before she spoke.
"IceClan does have its pride," she said, "but it only asked us for help because it was desperate. And it's not a good idea to pick on rogues, either, they're not a very nice bunch when they're mad. Plus, you're right, it is their problem, but they had no choice. I don't think they would've asked for help if they could choose to."
Koipaw looked up. The frigid winter sky was nothing but pure white cloud. The tall, bare trees reached up against the sky with their long, grating branches. A light snow started to fall. She sighed. How could some war ruin this...? Besides, wouldn't be it sort of pointless for IceClan to pick a fight with them, anyway?

Brightkit padded into the apprentice's den bored "Hi," she meowed,

Koipaw laughed the closest thing a cat could get to a laugh. "I suppose so. It would be nice to be able to participate in a battle for once; be part of the action." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of movement, and turned around to see Brightkit. "Oh, hi, Brightkit," she said, suddenly panicked. Had the kit overheard their conversation about possible war?

Feralpaw watched the white kitten enter, making the apprentice's tail flash to and fro with some slight amusement. " Yes; Hello, Brightkit. " She greeted, her smooth words in the form of a lusty purr. " I'm Feralpaw, " the brown she-cat mewed, taking a seat on the cold den floor. Her yellow-green hued orbs flickered over to a black figure, " Whippaw, " she murmured lowly to herself, focusing on the unusual name. CloudClan knew if he still remembered her.

(OOC: Wait, I thought this was in the camp, not in the apprentices' den. :S) "Hello, Feralpaw," Koipaw said, tail lashing in agitation that she was being ignored and that a private conversation was being interrupted by her sister.

[ Well, it was posted into the Apprentices' Den. ]
A small smirk was compressed upon her lips, eyes gleaming. " Finally, " she agreed solemly; This wasn't time to act like children and fight over something in the past. No, it would rather be fun if she were get on the blunt apprentice's good-side. Anyways, it's not like she was that smart back then when she would ignore the campass laws.
She looked over to Kiopaw, an obvious expression played upon her face that she didn't care about the white apprentice. " Hello, " she mewed bitterly, watching her tail flick in agitation. Oh joy, a selfish one. " Irritated, much? " Feralpaw asked her with amusement swirling in her words.

(Oh. Sorry, I just thought this was in the camp because of the description in the thread.)
"A lot of things irritate me," Koipaw muttered, trying to hold her temper. Obviously, the other apprentice was trying to provoke her. She was starting to become annoyed with Feralpaw, but at the same time, she was slightly envious of how smoothly the other apprentice moved and how calm she seemed to be, no matter what.

"Tough's an understatement for that," Koipaw said, also looking out the entrance. She lay down in a patch of faint sunlight, shivering a little as she lay down on the den's cold surface. Whippaw's statement about the leaf-bare reminded her of the IceClan issue, and she dimly wondered how the IceClan cats must feel in their current conditions in this weather.

She caught herself being rude as Whippaw brought up the exclaimation about the rough weather during leaf-bare. " Tough? More like deadly, " Feralpaw meowed, flicking her tail as she stared off into the snowfall. The apprentice looked back to Whippaw, watching him snuggle into his warm nest. Looking back at the snow, she mewed, " I'm gonna have to stomp around in that soon. " The brown she-cat stated, whiskers twitching eagerly.

Koipaw rolled her eyes at him. "Come on! Get up, you lazy furball!" She playfully pushed Whippaw out of the nest, trying to get him to stop being so lazy on such a wonderfully snowy day.

A small purr of amusement rumbled in the apprentice's throat. " I'll be sure to do so, " she promised, actually looking forward to waking him up from a dreamless slumber. Feralpaw supposed that Whippaw could be funny at times, and she could care less about his common blunt actions.

Koipaw grinned when she saw her friend was finally awake and alert, and bounded out of the den and into the snow, sending up a spray of the white powder as she dashed in, her pelt blending in with the snow except for the dark orange and black patches.
She shivered a little in the frigid, powdery snow, but that wore off quite quickly as she bounded through, leaving her fresh paw prints behind in a haphazard trail.
