~Tall and proud, Small and sweet~
You know thier names, their heritage, thier looks, but do you really know them? Spiderkit kind and sometimes careless. Solsticekit, proud and arrogant, isolated. No. Thats not them at all....The kits shared a special bond, they where closer then any two siblings. Able to read each others feelings and see what was wrong, able to tell when one another was in danger. These kits where more then siblings, best friends, clanmates, teammates. They where the pride of Harrowing.
Solsticekit yawned from his spot, a ball of moss at his feet. The usual nightly game, kick a ball back and forth. It was a great way to wind down for the siblings. His small pink tongue curled massively in his jaws as another yawn took control. Solsticekit shook his orange patched head, shaking the effects of the yawn off like a leaf. His silver-blue eyes scanned the clearing for his sister's form.
Although the tom-kit hated playing games, he always played this one game with his sister, it showed that he still cared. Althought Spiderkit was soon to be Spiderpaw, Solsticekit hoped they would always be close. No matter what. The thought swirled around in his head as he pawed at the moss ball. What if they do grow apart? No. It couldnt happen. |

The young tabby she-cat searched with her eyes for her brother, their mother, Harrowingpride was already asleep, but, as Spiderkit slunk over to her brother, the pair stayed up a little later to play, it was true that the pair were rarely seen apart, two half of the same whole and all that, but it went much deeper then that. Spiderkit knew almost excatly what her brother was thinking, if he was in danger, or what was making his emotions go aray, it was a connection that no other cat could ever have with either of the pair. Her eyes searched for her brother, her best friend, and spotted him. Pawing a small ball of moss.
Although she knew that he hated to play, he would always play with her. Slinking over to him she purred slightly, "Hello brother, do you want to play?" Soon she would be an apprentice, but, she didn't want to be one. She wanted to stay with her brother and become an apprentice with him. The thought came to her just as it had to Solsticekit; What if they grow apart. She shook off the thought dismissively, it could never happen!

First came the white cat. Jeesh! Will she ever be made apprentice? Brightkit was pratically twice as large as himself, and he very much didnt take a liking to this particular she-cat. His silver-blue eyes flashed in her direction, hard, "Greetings Brightkit. Shouldn't you be begging Beechstar for a ceremony right now?" He growled rudely, his ears laying back. And leave me be.
Then his ears flicked, relief swamping over him in waves as he felt his sister's presences. Solsticekit heard Spiderkit's purr, asking if he wanted to play. His lips twitched ever so slightly, into a faint hint of a smile. A rare occasion from the little black tom, with the orange patch coving his left eye, and silver-blue eyes. He nodded, basically turning the whole of his attention on Spiderkit, "Yep."
Maybe if he ignored Brightkit she would go away and leave the sibilings alone. Then again he could be wrong... |

Now. Now he was annoyed. His tail lashed slightly, clearly stating that he was not pleased. He looked at Tinykit, almost hissing, "Hello Tinykit." His silver-blue eyes flaming with agitation.
It wasnt that he hated them, he just wanted to be alone with his sister a little while so they could play and talk about there day. No. Deep down, he really cared about the two other kits, but right now he just wanted them to leave.
He stood up, about to leave. His ears flat against his black head. His tail lashing, fur bristling. |

No I havent, I should have. gawd I've only had my cat account for a few days and it seems I've already broken two rules....drat! I just thought it would be cool if Solsticekit was extrememly close to one of his siblings, almost to the point that he could tell what she was feeling. It wasnt like he could her mind. |

In the activity check I told you about the name issue. Cats don't know what solstices are, therefore it cannot be a name. Thank you for your respectful manner.)

I didnt know that sorry, I've only read like the first two or three books. Maybe we wont have that type of bond. We'll just be really really really close, okay? ) (Oh... xD Thats where it is. Okay. Is Burnkit/patch or Scorchkit/patch (<3) all right? I just wanted to use a name that wasnt all to original or commonly used like 'black' or 'dark'. Any other suggestions?) (You're welcome.) |
