[shadow=Blue,left,100]A small brown kit, scrawny in build with slightly long-ish legs, sat near the entrance of the nursery. Quiet, peaceful, would this last for must longer with the other kits? Large, fluffy, white flakes drifted silently from the grey sky. Oh, blissful silence.
Her tail was curled around her paws, all prim and proper. She waited, something would ruin the bliss, it was only a matter of time, but for now she would enjoy the bitter air, soft flakes and quiet manner of the day.[/shadow]

The small, young, kits yawned and turned over. She had been born yesterday, late at night, having kept half the clan up, if just from the noise. She was small, slightly more so than most kits. Her fur, fluffy, was a beautiful light brown, slightly darker tabby stripes that where thin in the middle and darkened as they thickened near her head and tail. Her fur was her namesake.
She blinked for her first time, and her slowly opening eyes took in the world around her with wonder. It was so colorful. She was near the entrance of the den, the snowflakes that danced there in plain view. Also, a young kit, she guessed born only a round a day before her, was standing in the entrance, watching the snow fall in silence. Slowly, and ever so carefully, the kit stood for the first time. Step by wobbly step, she made it to the entrance, and sat down clumsily next to the brown kit. Silence seemed better once shared.

[shadow=Blue,left,100]The kit blinked in acknoladgement, oh thank cloudclan it had not been ruined. The silence was gold to her small, sensitive ears. The other kit was also brown, small, maybe they were born on close to the same day.
She guessed the other kit was just as tired as herself, a long night it had been, bolth of the kit's first night, most likely.
Turning her attention back to the snow she smiled, the light flakes still drifting. They were pretty and enjoyable to watch. Unaware of the cold temperature of the flakes her paw shot out and grabbed one. She let out a little squeak, brought the paw back in, and began to lick it vigorousely. It was evedent she had gotten quite a surprise.[/shadow]

The little kit was happy that her age mate had not spoke to her, and ruined the silence they both seemed to revere. When she was born, the medicine cat had been slightly worried because she had not cried, but not much, since that had happened before. Some kits where just quiet. She was one of them. She watched as her fellow kit reached out for the snow. She thought to herself, of course, since she was not the kit doing it, won't that be as cold as the air? But the thought, it so seemed, came to late to voice, since as soon as she thought it, a delicate, beautiful snowflake landed on the paw of her companion, melting to water, and seeming to be as cold as she had thought. Not that that would have stopped her from sticking her paw out there if she had done it first. She took a wobbly step towards to her companion to see if she was okay. "You okay?" She asked quietly, the first time she had ever spoken.

[shadow=Blue,left,100]The bliss had been broken, just as she had expected it would be sooner or later. "Yes, quite alright, but perhaps missing my common sense.." she replied. Her voice, although still squeaky, was smooth, light and not purposely quiet. She was almost sure if one of the cold flakes blowing outside could talk, that was what it would sound like.
Not minding a quiet conversation she sat up and faced the other cat.[/shadow]

I grinned shyly in response to the other cats, the silence broken as it always way, even if it was only because of high pitched, slightly squeaky voices of young kits. She knew that there voices who even out in a few moons, but that did not seem fast enough. Squeaky was not very quiet. I was quiet by nature, so my voice was off, not as quiet as it should have been, but it still had that slightly holding back tone of a shy cat. "I heard Momma say last night that kits don't have it yet" I squeaked, sitting down as well, my long tail curling around my forepaws before I realized what i was doing. I looked out at the snow "It's not quiet anymore."
OOC: You're a beautiful role player ^^

[shadow=Blue,left,100]"No, I don't beleive it is quiet anymore." the edges of her mouth raised in a small cat-like smile. "But, it's not the end of the world." she added, getting more sure that maybe a quiet conversation wasn't a bad thing at all, as long as they wouldn't have to jump up and play some roudy loud games like she had seen some older kits doing.
Honestly in her opinion the other kit was so identical that they could be litter-mates, if not for the different mothers and all. They would probably make perfect friends for eachother.

She liked this kit that was quiet like she was. They could just talk, and she would not be pulled into those games the older ones played, that involved so much fighting, no matter if it was playing. It just seemed like it could hurt someone. She hoped that they would be friends. "No it's not, at least when you have someone nice to talk too" Wait. Had she just said that? She had not just told a kit she just met that. It was already becoming clear that Doekit would not be the type to open up. She seemed more of the type too hide in the corner. That would not get you many friends, but, well, oh well, she guessed.

[shadow=Blue,left,100]The other kit seemed shy, but not to the point that she wouldn't become a natural friend for her. "I agree completely, any way, have you seen the violent mouse-brained games the older kits play?" she asked scornfully, still stuck on the subject, like a bee on honey or a leaf on a tree. "They're so.." she trailed off.
She brought up a paw and licked it then smoothed it over her face. She is and always will be independent, not needing her mother to do every little thing.[/shadow]

She smiled shyly as Minkkit mewed again She was glad that this kit seemed friendly enough. She was not really scared of other cats, she just didn't want to start up a conversation. This time it had worked well enough though. Not that she had really started it, but still. The little brown shoulders of Doekit, rose and fell as she shrugged in response to the trailed off sentence of Minkkit. "They make good warriors..." She said slowly "but they aren't for me" She shook her head from side to side, and then wondered if Minkkit and her had the same father. It seemed likely enough given their similar looks. Maybe they where cousins or something.

[shadow=Blue,left,100]"Nor for me." she answered. Cloudclan this was getting creepy, they looked alike and thought alike, mabe... She was having the same thoughts as Doekit, Maybe we have the same father? Some sort of relation for sure.. she thought. After all it was entirely possible.. unussual... strange... barely sane, but still..
As she thought about this she continued to groom her brown fur.
((OOC: We should have them be siblings XD))[/shadow]

Very few people could ever met themselves and get alone with them, but I guess these two where and exception. They where not completely the same, but they where close enough. they liked a lot of the same things, looked alike, and acted the same in some ways. the only main difference that had popped up so far was the fact that they had different mothers and that little Doe was shyer than her namesake. Without realizing it, Doekit started copying Minkkit, since the only different was her stripes, and they where acting a lot like each other. it just felt more right when she looked at Mink and was not standing still while she moved. She grinned suddenly "Friends?"
OOC; We SHOULD, but we need to find a dad ^^

[shadow=Blue,left,100]She gave her little cat-like smile, "Sure." she replied. Looking at the other kit for a few seconds she mewed, "Hey, we're both grooming!" she purred. "Isn't it strange...." she began, "That we are so alike." she finished. wow, that was alot of talking for the small, quiet kit.
((OOC: We should check the rouge boards and the clan for someone willing... how are we gonna go abot that? X3))[/shadow]

The small brown tabby she-cat purred. She had a friend now, at least. Not bad for only being alive one day, around. "I was grooming cause you were" She admitting, before realizing what she had said, and that it was true.
(I'm guessing it would not be illegal to PM a tom of the clan to see if they would be a father.)

[shadow=Blue,left,100]"Hmmm.. oh well." she chuckled quietly. "You know what'd be interesting?" she asked letting her question hang in the air, I wonder if she's thinking what I am... she wondered silently.
