Echokit smiled when Emeraldkit had invited her to play.
She ran out, not touching it, just looking at the fresh blanket of snow, sparkling in the late noon sun.
Its reflection shone in her bright blue eyes.
Jumping into the snow for the first time, she expected it to be warm, like a moss nest.
But no, the ice cold blanket of white took her by suprise.
