Dawn was beginning to break, and Fernpelt hadn't had a wink of sleep. As the sun rose over the forest, liquid gold seem to pour out over all of TreeClan. The stars faltered for a moment, struggling to live for yet another moment, and vanished. Fernpelt savored the feeling of warmth seeping into her body for a moment longer.
