For once the kit had his full attention, and he found himself astonished at the truth in her words. At her age he had been far more innocent and hadn't even imagined conversing with apprentices let alone warriors. Her young age made him feel slightly foolish, at how ironic this situation was. Imagine a kit bossing around a warrior! " True. I'll apologize, then. " He replied grudgingly his tone quiet as he found his amber eyes drifting to the stubborn tortishell she-cat, back turned to him not even bothering to utter a word.
" Oh joy. " The sarcastic words were muttered under his breath as he found himself striding towards her then coming to a halt, black and white fur prickling with unease. " Koisplash ... I-I'm sorry, for everything. " It felt as if each word physically hurt the tom and in a sense it did. To be honest he had barely ever admitted a fault outloud. [/color] |

Koisplash froze. For a heartbeat, she had sworn she thought...she heard him...apologizing. For a few moments, she had no idea what to do. But then she turned and looked at him, her green eyes soft.
"I'm sorry, too," she said, mumbling only a little. "It was my fault as well. I shouldn't have been angry with you."
She shyly gave him a brief lick on the cheek, hoping he could feel her sincere apology in it.

She had turned to him and for an instance he had thought she would slap him or something. But, instead she had forgiven him and even given his cheek a swift lick. He stared at her with wide eyes not sure what to make of it. Then as if coming back to awareness his fur became hot with a newfound embarrassment as he gave her a sheepish grin. " Well, it seems we both over reacted a little bit. Perhaps I should learn to have more fun? " It was a rhetorical question for he already knew the answer.

"In other words, you should use your inner kit," Koisplash purred, smiling the closest a cat could get to a smile and also a little embarrassed, but slightly pleased at the reaction she had caused him. She really would pounce on him if it weren't for her leg. Mouse dung, why do I keep complaining about that? Ugh, I'm turning into an elder already...
"I'm sorry for the snowball," she suddenly meowed, realizing she hadn't apologized about that yet. "I...don't think I was really thinking very well when I did that."

She grinned in a smirk-like way; Happy to see them apologize to one another. Crosskit watched Kiosplash lick the tom's cheek briefly. The gray kitten had became fond of Whiplash, and wanted to be his apprentice. She didn't think he had an apprentice, so the spot was still open! Crosskit thought that they'd make perfect friends. She silently cleared her throat and meowed sweetly, Whiplash, would it be okay if I asked Beechstar to be your apprentice when I g-grow up? I just want to make sure that I wouldn't be a burden to y-you ..
