Whisperpaw, one of the elder apprentices, watched them talk.
Not wanting to join their conversation yet, she pricked her ears, wanting to hear some of the gossip.

Something about I'm hated...blah blah blah....

Sighing, she turned onto her side, this wasn't a very interesting conversation.
She knew what was coming next.

Crowpaw looked up at Whisperpaw and twitched his tail.

He thought back to the days of him and Foxtail. His heart went faster and his blood pressure rose higher. He looked around. "I-I'll see you guys later." He hesitantly left the den.

Hearing Squirrelpaw say she liked him, she held back a giggle.
The was so amusing when you weren't part of it.

Before she could say anything, the two had left the den.

Skpaw padded over to Squirrelpaw, an amused glint in her eyes. She didn't have her mind on any one yet, but she knew it wouldn't last. Right now the toms in her life were just besties, but you never know how things can change. "Don't worry Squirrelpaw, he's just shocked." she turned to Goldpaw. "And as for you, IF YOU EVER SAY YOUR HATED AGAIN i'MA CLAW YOUR TONGUE OUT!" she joked, then pounced on her the sad she-cat.
