I remember once I was looking around here, and someone had posted about this really good photo editing program they used. I'm pretty sure it was Ivycloud or Silver-something, but w/e. If you know of a super-awesome-free photo editing program tell me. I plan on getting a tablet soon (that means in a year or two) so I want everything to be ready!

Gimp looks really good, but Pixlr doesn't seem to have anything there...just sponsor listings. I'm starting to think I should buy one, though. Way less chance of getting a bug. But it costs money.........

Well, you can use the Pixlr editor that opens in your browser, too.

Photoshop you have to buy, but that is were I do my edits. ~Ivycloud I dunno if it was me. Photoshop and Artrage are the only photo edit sites I use.

I think it was Wildwind who suggested GIMP once...or is I having a brain fart? Anyways, I hear Photoshop is, like, 200$? I'm looking more for...50?

I use Gimp.
I tried Photoshop once. Too complicated for me. >.>
Corel Painter X is a favorite, although I only had a 30 day trial of it. -misses it greatly-

Whatever. I give up trying to find whoever suggested GIMP at first. xD And Harrowing, thanks, but I'd feel really bad if I got a 'free' one. That wasn't really supposed to be free. My conscience would bother me.
I think I'll just pester my Dad to let me download GIMP. Until this happens...
Dad: Hon, what is this 'GIMP' thing doing on here? Did I give you permission to download that? Me: Uh huh.... Dad: When? Me: remember that time when you were asleep? *quietness* Yea....I asked an dyou gave the universal grunt that means yes.

For a great online editor, www.picnik.com/ is an awesome use. It's free, and can give quite amazing results if you use it right.

In Septemer, my cousin showed me picnik. I love it. My signature picture was editted out of picnik. I've had like a four month experiance, so I'm more used to the effects and what I can do to change it and make it look all cute with Cross Process. Tinting works for eye color, and if you go on Exposure in Edit and set the contrast down to make it look all gray, you can put down text and put the mode on Overlay. <3 Example: Before, After, I recommend picnik. It's free, and awesome.
