It had all started a sunny September day the wind was a breeze calm and genital Erin dashed up to her house not knowing she was being followed by a man.Erin got up the steps and opened the door her mom was on the phone so Erin went upstairs to do homework. Five minutes later a scream louder than anything rang out, Erin creped downstairs the strange man that followed her had a knife and a bloody scene occurred. Her mom and dad were murdered.
Erin ran away from the house away from life as she knew it it was instinct it told her to go, not to call anyone but, to run like she had never ran before. Erin approached the street corner but noticed the man was behind her she had to lose him that was her only choice.
Erin approached a stream, a wide stream. She couldn't swim but it was her only way to beat the approaching man. Erin leaped and sunk to the bottom.
Erin woke up in a strange place strange people all around her no mom no dad a orffin. Everyone was looking at her she had bruises and scrapes and her long blonder hair was matted. Erin's green eyes were dull. She could hear murmuring but she remembered nothing not her age her name nothing.
A lady in a coat came up to Erin "Hi sweet heart." She cooed then she when back to the others they whispered then the lady came back to Erin"I'm Mrs. Duffy do you remember your name?" Erin shook her head no"Okey-dokey then well call you Elizabeth Liz for short" Liz nodded.
Liz held a blank expression all day she knew words but not facts. She did not know her mom her dad or her brother.
"Lizzy dear come down here." Mrs. Duffy called she held a pair of scissors Liz steeped back"Don't be afraid come here."Mrs. Duffy called Liz walked over and sat down. Mrs.Duffy sniped some hair of until it was just above the shoulder.
Liz was in the bedroom with all the kids her age so far she knew Gracie Abi and Maggie they were nice girls but Liz wanted a friend a real friend like her. Thats when It happened she met Gina.
Gina was a small girl Lizzes age with dark brown hair and crystal eyes. "Hi Gina"Liz greeted her friend"Hola Elizabet"Gina greeted."Want to play a game?"Liz asked "Si,pero lo juego?" "Tag?" "Si me encanta etiquetas"Gina replied "Your it!"Liz said "pero fue la ultima vez""fine I'm it" liz said.
