The Arrival of Mintpaw and Skypaw

[Mintstorm]

Mintpaw and Skypaw arrived at the apprentices' den. Mintpaw nodded at Skypaw and meowed, "Lets go in," She could barely hide her excitement. She thought that even her Clanmates could see it. Mintpaw stuck her head into the apprentices' den and looked for any extra dens that Mintpaw and Skypaw could sleep in. She saw 2 empty ones next to each other. Mintpaw padded to the nests and laid down on one of them. Mintpaw pawed the empty nest next to her, signalling Skypaw that the pile of moss and bracken is her bed.

[Skypaw]

Skypaw gave a hesitant nod and followed Mintpaw into the den. There were more cats than there were in the nursery! Skypaw stayed by the entrance, she was afraid that she would step on a sleeping cat. 'I've just got here and I'm already scared!'

[Mintstorm]

"Don't worry," Mintpaw meowed sympathetically," One day you'll get used to it, and that won't take long." I hope, Mintpaw muttered under her breath. She knew Skypaw was a shy cat. When she first met her, she was hiding behind her in the nursery. When Mintpaw found out, Skypaw ran away.

[Skypaw]

Skypaw felt reassured by Mintpaw's words. She nodded, "Okay." She scanned the apprentice den, looking for any cat that was a kit when she was. She leaned closer to Mintpaw. "I don't reconize any of these cats!" SKypaw whispered, worry in her voice. When Skypaw was a kit she was the only kit of the litter, all of her brothers and sisiters were already apprentices when she was born and they never visited her. Skypaw had felt so lonely until Mintpaw had talked to her. Silverpaw followed, then Whitepaw, and finally Dovekit. But Dovekit was still a kit and would still be for several moons. Silverpaw and Whitepaw were probably out on a patrol and wouldn't be back for a while. 'I can do this! Push away your fears and say hi.' She thought. But he paws wouldn't move. 'Mouse-dung!'

[Agony]

Silverpaw came in she was breathing hard. "Skykit, Mintkit? She called from there old names. She didn't know they changed them yet. Her eyes sparckled arn't your supose to be in the nusery?" She asked.

[Mintstorm]

"It's Mintpaw and Skypaw now," Mintpaw mewed," We turned into apprentices yesterday."

[Mosskit]

Mosskit fell into the aprentics' den. " Oops, sorry ,Meowww," Said Mosskit. She was on the floor with a moss stuck to one of her fingers.
(at end of sentence she always say meow)

[Mintstorm]

Mintpaw saw the kit tumbling into the den. " Are you okay?" Mintpaw helped Mosskit get up to her paws," What were you doing?" Mintpaw stared at the kit, " You shouldn't be here."

[Mosskit]

" I am soooo sory meow!" Mosskit whimpered," I don't know where the nursery is, can you show me there? Pllleeeeaaasseee??" Mosskit took the moss off her paw and clamped it shut in her mouth to stop her from embarrassing herself by talking.
(i do that because to us, they're saying meow, but to them they're saying something else)

[Mintstorm]

" Uhh, sure?" Mintpaw replied. Mintpaw padded over to her friends and said, "Wanna come?" She looked at her friends, with a pleading look in her eyes. Then, she turned around and said, " Go to the entrance, I'll be there soon".

[Skypaw]

Skypaw smiled at the kit, "Sure, let's go." She mewed, padding past Mintpaw and towards the kit. "I don't think it's a good idea to put moss in your mouth, you might choke. I'm Skypaw by the way." She purred, gently taking the moss out of the kit's jaws. "There, now, what was your name?" Skypaw asked, guiding the kit out of the apprentice den. She turned back, "hey Mintpaw, I think you should catch up. I don't want you to be left behind."

[Mintstorm]

"Kay!" Mintpaw hurried over to the kit and apprentice. " I think her name is Mosskit," Mintpaw told Skypaw.

[whitekit]

Whitepaw saw Mintpaw and Skypaw. They must have just been made an apprentice she thought because they just came out of the apprentices' den.
"Hi Mintpaw, Skypaw!"
Then she noticed a little kit next to them
"Who is this?"

[Skypaw]

Skypaw looked up and smiled at Whitepaw, "Hi Whitepaw! This is Mosskit, she got lost and can't find her way back to the nursery." She explained, "Isn't she cute?" Skypaw missed being in the nursey with Shadefrost. It was warm and safe, and this kit reminded Skypaw of when she was a kit. It had only been three sunrises ago when she left to be an apprentice, but Mintpaw was always with her. 'Mintpaw is the best friend a cat could ever have. But what will happened when.....' Skypaw shuddered at the thought, she didn't want to think about her friend leaving to join Cloudclan yet.

Whitepaw glanced at cute little kit. "She is adorable! Hi I am Whitepaw!"*she introduced her self to the new little kit*"Who is your mother?"
