This is kinda a two-sided attempt; after months of doing monologues in Drama I decided to use a personal story to try and make my own. And I also just need to vent. :3

I'm pretty sure that all or most of us love to write, right? Everyone I know who writes has binders stuffed with writing. I'm sure you know what I mean.
I started a binder and it's filled with stories. Personal stories. I don't let anyone else read them- they're mainly just what people call 'scribbles', one-shots or sections of stories that are the most emotional and fun to write. I've been contributing to this binder all year and write in it in free time during class.
I left it in Spanish class by mistake last week. I'm in Spanish during third block. I discovred this during fourth-block, when I went to get some loose-leaf paper from my binder. After fourth block I rushed to the Spanish room. There was a sub that day and she said she hadn't seen it. It wasn't where I left it and I had to leave five minutes later, still empty-handed.
The next day I arrived early and checked around the classroom. There was a similar-looking white binder on the floor, a pile of binders in the corner (not white- all black), and some papers scattered around. My teacher said she hadn't seen it.
I went back to sit down and on a whim picked up the white binder. I opened it up and the first thing I saw was my writing in a folder, scribbled on in highlighter.
That wasn't the worst of it. The words "**** YOU" had been written on both folders on the inside of the binder. The person had scribbled on my homework in pen and highlighter. I didn't really mind the homework- it would make a neat story to tell my teachers. But the part that really got to me was what they did with my writing. They had torn up my writing and stuffed it in my folders, reorganized my binder and made it almost unreadable.
At first it was kind of a shock. I just stared.
Seriously, who does this? My friend asked if I was okay because I actually started to cry. When you contribute so much to something over such a long period of time, you grow attached. I'd created this, and someone had just blown through and torn it apart in an offensive (albeit dimwitted) attempt at hurting someone who they didn't even know and had done nothing to them.
Who does something like that to someone they didn't even know? Probably a bitter, angry person. Would any of you do something like this if you could? Would I do something like this?
I certainly hope not. People who are capable of doing such a thing are the kinds of people you usually try to ignore unless you're one of them yourself. They lash out.
I hope I never become one of them.

That was written in ten minutes. My lovely monologue-slash-rant. ._.
