So, as you know we have a prett-- no, big problem with immigration. I mean, it does some how irks ( Or how ever you spell that. ) when illegal aliens come across our border from Mexico ect. I swear, I have nothing against ANY of them, but they bring drugs and . . nevermind, erm, anyway. So, I watched Obama's speech, and whatnot, . . know I'm not THAT big of a moron. I know America was praticlly built on immigration. BUT TIMES. HAVE. CHANGED. They come in looking for jobs, but . . we have nothing for them . . we have enough American Citizens that are looking for jobs as it is, people from Cuba and Mexico ect. are not helping the situation at all. I feel bad for them, I do . . but we can't provide Mexico with jobs, when we have none to provide. I can understand Cuba a little better than Mexico . . because, ONE. Cuba is a communist country, and the president is a d***hebag. Like, they get beat for talking about something that they won't probably even do. But, they don't care. Mexico, I've been there . . yeah, It's not the best place to live and all, but . . . there are jobs. Anyway, I know, I know call me heartless and throw whatever you have at me, because my opinion stays the same. I have NOTHING against Mexico, or it's citizens, neither do I have a problem with Cubans, or Cuba. It's just the facts. ( Well, sprinkled with some opinions. ) I just want to know YOUR opinions on the matter. Kthxbai.

Cubans are not illegal immigrants. Because their country is communist they are seen sort of as refugees fleeing a persecuting country. They are automatically citizens when they touch American soil.

My dad had lost his job to an immigrant. e.o They irritate me because of that; he still doesn't have as good a job. He just works wherever he can. Same thing happened to my friend's dad. ><
I don't blame the Cubans as much as Mexicans. -Sounds totally racist there- Communist countries are.. plenty reason to flee, in my opinion.

Hm... they come over our border, have no form of identification, and IF they commit crimes, bring in drugs, rape, kidnap, WHATEVER, there's no way to track them. They just don't show up to court. ._. Now, not all of them do this, but they're still breaking the law. We have a fixed set of rules.
All of the janitors in my school are Mexican. All of them. The teachers have to put notices for them IN SPANISH. "Por favor no lave el pizarron" ("Please do not clean the board"). My friend- who thinks that people should be able to live in the US if they want to without going through the process- said that her dad (who's an architect) hires mainly illegal immigrants.
There IS a job crisis right now. They trapeze over our border without bothering to go through with the application process, take jobs that real American citizens need, and when they commit crimes, our jails have to pay money to hold them.
I realize they're not all bad, but they are still breaking our laws. We have these laws for a reason. What if someone is rejected because they have an illness? Some of them have illnesses that can't be cured. What happens if they bring them to the U.S.? We shouldn't sacrafice the well-being of our people to accomodate citizens of a bad country. They need to go through the application process or get out.
Honestly, their country needs to shape up. .-. I don't like the idea of the U.S. being involved in even more affairs as it is (that crap with Libya wasn't even necessary), but if it keeps the illegals out of our country and if the U.S. refuses to send those oh-so-pitiful lawbreakers back to where they're SUPPOSED to be by LAW, then it might just come down to that. ._. Yes, they are lawbreakers. They broke U.S. law.
I know their country is bad, but illegal immigration... no. ._. It's illegal. That's all there is to it.
