The Old and New.

Dawnpaw walked into the apprentices' den with a clump of dry moss. "Wow," She muffled though the moss in awe, "This is much bigger than the Nursery..." She was used to the Nursery's small nooks and cranny's, and was nervous about not sleeping in there all the time. But it gave her comfort to know that soon she would always be spending the nights with the other apprentices.
She sniffed around for Sunpaw's nest. Finding it, she carefully placed and spread out the moss that she had carried in. "Well, it's not the Nursery, but at least I get to make some new friends, even if most of the cats already know me..." She said with a smile. As a kit, Dawnpaw had been very popular, and she loved to show of her jumping.
Thinking of how she had to move forward and become an apprentice, Dawnpaw shuddered, "What if I'm not good at hunting? O-o-or fighting?" She tryed to shake the words away. If she was going to be good, it wouldn't help to think negatively.

Sunpaw padded into the Apprentice den to see Dawnpaw setting up a nest. ''Hi Dawnpaw! How's your apprentice life treating you?'' she asked.

"Dunno, ok I guess." Dawnpaw said, looking around.

"It'll get better, once you get to go hunting." Sunpaw said with a smile.
