The sunshine filtered through the walls of the den landing on his dusty grey pelt, causing him to stir. His green eyes opened just a crack; surveying his surroundings. All that greeted him was the sight of his Clanmates all curled up and snoozing. How boring.
Letting out a yawn his maw opened revealing rows of white teeth, then quickly snapped shut. With ease he got to his paws then weaved his small frame around the sleeping cats. Try as he might he was fairly certain he had stepped on one or two tails; but heck he was sleeping practically in the centre. So it wasn't really his problem. Finally he sat down half in and out of the den, letting the sun's rays warm his pelt. Out of habit he cast a quick glance over his shoulder half hoping that someone would bother to wake up and chat with him.

Shrewbreaker padded silently out of the Warrior's Den and yawned, smacking his lips loudly after. His eyes were blurry from just waking up so he shook himself to wake his whole body up from its slumber. With another smack of the lips Shrewbreaker started to look around. It was early but someone had to be awake...
The sight of a little gray cat made Shrewbreaker burst with joy..on the inside. Ghostwhisper! He thought happily as he quickly ran over to his brother. Ghostwhisper had been so busy the past moons and they had never really had the time to talk anymore. "Hey bro, how does it feel to be the oldest warriors now?" Shrewbreaker asked with a happy laugh and sat down next to him.

Boredom had soon settled on the tabby-tom and he found himself beginning to groom his already sleek pelt. The clearing had been completely empty, devoid of the usual chatter and milling about of cat's. He had to admit peace and quiet wasn't all that bad for a change. Then pawsteps had sounded behind him and a familiar voice had reached his ears.
A cat-like grin spread across his small muzzle, as he cast his older brother a side glance. The two hadn't seen much of each other the past few moons and for that he felt slightly guilty. "Hey!" He meowed. At Shrewbreakers next comment he let out a faint purr. "It feels the same, really. Although I do like sleeping in the centre of the warriors den." He mused lightly, one of his ears twitching slightly as he settled into the easy conversation he was bound to have with his sibling.

Shrewbreaker purred in happiness. The center of the den was one of his most favorite parts of being an older warrior. "Me too. The center of the den is so cozy." Shrewbreaker purred louder at the thought of the warm nest he slept in, surrounded by his friends and brother.
" I remember when we were kits..when we lived with Nightdust, momma, and Solarshine. I wish we still lived together but in Treeclan. So Gentleheart would have some elder friends and Nightdust could hang out with us. I miss Nightdust..." Shrewbreaker's purr was gone and his voice's happiness was fading away. Thinking about that always made him down.
"But I should be happy that were here! Right?" The happy came back and he was a lot more perky.

Leoparddash snapped awake, a surge of pain streaking through her tail. "Hey!" she hissed, though whoever it had been had left. A loud yawn escaped her jaws, blinking as she glanced around the den. Small rays of sunshine creeped through the gaps in the den, though it was unuasual for many cats to be up at this time. She finally haulled herself from her bed, its content of moss and feathers beginning to harden with use. Great... she thought glumly. Now she had to change her bedding, because the stinking lazy apprentices never bothered to.
Quietly; she slinked out of the den. Her eyes narrowed as they adjusted to the light, which was rather painful in ways. Her skinny paws stretched out, shaking away the sleep. As she was doing this, her gaze stretched toward's the two brothers; Ghostwhisper and Shrewbreaker. She had never approached Ghostwhisper before, though it was strange that she was so close to Shrewbreaker. She padded toward's the tom's, greeting them with a friendly nod. "Hi Shrewbreaker." her purr towards the brown tabby was soft, soothing with there long friendship. Her pale green eyes fixed on Ghostwhisper, unsure to speak or not.

Bluewish twitched his whiskers at the sound of other cats mewling quietly by the entrance, he groaned rolled over. He leapt to his feet, he had rolled onto the cold ground. He shook his head and yawned. carefully maneuvering his way around the sleeping cats he padded towards the other cats, he had seen them around camp but hadn't met them. he stretched when he was clear of the sleeping cats "Mind if I join you?" he asked politely, his tail waving in contentment

At the mention of their family he was plunged into a load of memories. The majority of them sad, although there was also some good ones of when he was a young kit. It had been much simpler then, well sort of. "That would be perfect, if we were all together like a real family But it'll never happen. We can't change the past." The words tumbled out of his mouth and he too appeared to be momentarily depressed; ears flattened and head bowed.
Then he perked up as Shrewbreaker changed the subject most definitely a wise choice. "Right..." He echoed shuffling his paws across the ground. Another distraction soon came in the form of a fellow senior warrior who was called Leoparddash. He had never actually spoken to her for what reason he didn't know. All the same out of politeness he dipped his head in a silent greeting, then turned to yet another newcomer who he didn't know. "Uh... sure." He simply replied.

"If i am interrupting anything personal please tell me to shove off" bluewish added, uncertain about the sad look on Ghostwhispers face. Bluewish shifted his weight from paw to paw, waiting to know if he was being a bother. He knew that there were some things that you just didn't share with strangers. Memories washed over him of the lonely, angry, and isolated feelings of his past, he shook his grey tabby head to rid himself of such thoughts.

The older she-cat curtly sat her bottom down, curling her abnormally large tail around her paws. She glanced uncertainly at Shrewbreaker, then switching her gaze back to Ghostwhisper. Then back again. The only other cat she had bonded with in Shrewbreaker's family was Solarshine, and he was an elder now. The thought of the black male brought sadness to her eyes. Suprisingly, she missed him. Solarshine had come to her to ask if Shrewbreaker was healthy so many times, that they had become good friends.
"I'm not bothering you, am I." she asked the two, blinking uneasily. Her ears flicked as if gesturing she could go if they wanted.

"Leopadash, Bluewish. You to are wlcome to join us. We were just talking.." Shrewbreaker's voice trailed off as he layed down instead of sitting up. He didn't like laying down close to other cats because of how hot it got. But Ghostwhisper was my brother and Leoparddash was his best friend. Bluewish..well...was another warrior. Maybe a close-friend-to- be. That's CFTB.
Shrewbrreaker was already feeling the sweat on his paws. He quickly got up and meowed, "Anyone want some fresh kill? I'm feeling some squirrel." Shrewbreaker hadn't eaten in a long time and he was starving.

Junipertree padded into the camp with sore paws. She yawned loudly and stretched. She had just gotten back from Sun-High Patrol and all she wanted to do was grab some fresh-kill and take a nap. She got to her paws and padded over to the fresh-kill pile.
She grabbed a plump wood-pigeon off of the pile and started to head over to her favorite place to eat and relax: The tree-stump between the warriors' den and the fresh-kill pile! On her way there, she saw some of her friends talking next to the warriors' den. She grinned; which was quite hard with a dead bird in her mouth; and padded over to the group.
"Helwo Eevwywone!" She greeted. Her voice was slightly muffled by the wood-pigeon in her jaws. She set it at her paws and sat down. She curled her tail around her paws and glanced around. "So, what's going on?" She asked with a bright smile on her face.

She opened her mouth tp speak, when a muffled voice spoke up behind her. Her head turned around, preparing to scowl at them when she saw it was Junipertree. A small flicker of amusement glittered in her eyes as she glanced back at Shrewbreaker. "Hi Junipertree." she purred. Leopard welcomed the she-cat to sit by her, while she turned back to the other cats. "So how are you Junipertree?" she asked, flicking her tail curiously. She slipped smoothly into a lying positon, and began to groom her pelt.

Junipertree decided to ignore Leoparddash's eye-flicker. She graciously took the seat next to Leoparddash and layed down. "Hi, I'm Junipertree!" She sayed, introducing herself to the black tom.
She turned back to Leoparddash. "I'm quite well!" She said answering her question. "Better now that I can relax! It's blazing hot and there was scent of DeathClan near the border, though it was kind of stale... I wonder why they were so close to the TreeClan border. Speaking of which, have any of you seen Koisplash for the past few day?" She asked thoughtfully.
Suddenly, a thought dawned on her. How could I have not noticed?! She quickly got to her paws. "I think I should go look for her! I don't have a good feeling about all of this! Someone should at least warn Beechstar!" She told them with an anxious tone and a worried glint in her eyes. Her tail lashed around wildly.
