tinydapple curled upp in her nest, dreaming, she drempt of when she saw leaftail's mother get dragged away limp in the fox's jaws. she couldn't believe what pain the little kit went through.she shuddered, waking up, her eyes blinking open as a flash of lightning apeared from the sky. she gazed out of the den, the moon rising to only see a glowy white claw in the sky. she shivered as another crack of lightning split the air with a roll of thunder behind it. cloud's covered the moon as little drops of water came down. one splashed on her nose as a few fell on her whiskers. she shook the droplets off and glazed up at the sky. another growl of thunder came in with drops of raining falling harder. she step inside back in the warm den and took a sniff before another droplet could peer on her nose. she looked at leaftail and windstorm. how do these kind of cats live? leaftail, a kittypet, i would never want to be a kittypet when they feed you food that look like rabbit droppings. no way! or even a loner, living in a barn with nothing to do. no way! out here it's wild. the cats fit in but it seemed a little awkward to be around with wild-born cats and be the only one not wild-born. she wondered what it would be like as a loner or kittypet make i could ask them for myself [/size]

mossclaw opened an eye as lightining and thunder shook the night, she opened one green eye and say tinydapple gazing at her friends leaftail and windstorm. She shook her calico head and let out a lazy yawn "it's awfully loud isn't it?" mossclaw wispered as she padded closer to tinydapple.

(sorry, missed this thread)Leaftail yawned as the storm woke her up. "It's quite loud."Leaftail mewed, moving closer to Mossclaw and Tinydapple. She stared at the entrance, sadness crossing her eyes for a moment. "Reminds me of the night my mother woke me up to take me here. I saw such a little kit then. And then the fox....."She trailed off. "I still remember her though. Her voice, her scent. Every once in a while, I think of her, and the grief of losing her comes back. And I miss her all over again. You know, I hope she's up there somewhere, watching me. And I hope she's proud."Leaftail snuggled closer to Mossclaw, a trace of sadness still evident in her eyes.

(Sorry! I didn't even NOTICE this thread! O.O)
Windstorm padded into the den with a bright grin on his face. He always liked thunderstorms! He didn't know why though...The thunder helped him sleep.
He wasn't surprised to see others were awoken by the storm. He padded over to his nest, and he plopped down; covered in mud, water, and leaves. He began to groom his pelt while surveying the room.
Knowing that it would take about a million moons to groom all the mud out of his pelt, he ignored it and gazed around at the warriors that had been awoken by the storm.
"Nice weather we're having today!"
He said with a bright grin on his face.

Leaftail glanced over. "Hey Windstorm. Not for me. I hate storms. They bring back unwanted memories."She said, giving a shudder.

she meowed agreement"i don't really like this weather honestly" she snuggledf up to mossclaw and leaftail."i can't imagine how hard it must be for a cat to stay out her in the cold with no shelter like this"

"Neither can I. Getting soaked, and having no where to go. We're lucky to be in TreeClan. There's no where else I'd rather be. Not in RockClan, with their rocky terrain. Not in FireClan, with their open praire. Not even with IceClan, with the great view they have, the beautiful mountians. No, I belong here."Leaftail murmered, snuggling closer to Tinydapple.

Windstorm rolled his eyes in a playful manner while thrashing his tail around obviously.
Windstorm used to be a loner, so he would know a lot more about having less shelter in giant storms than they did.
He started to remember being a kit.
Cold, alone, nobody to love.
The vision became clearer---but her automatically pushed it to the very back of his mind.
The last thing he wanted to focus on was his past!
He shook himself and plastered a bright grin on his face.
"Well I happen to love the weather."
He said with a half-hearted chuckle. |
