...come again another day.
Moonripple scowled out into the drizzling rain, standing just near the entrance of the warriors' den. Wonderful! A rainstorm. Now what?
She hated rain. Mainly because she didn't like water, and water ruined her fur and chilled her to her bones until she was sneezing and coughing and with a cold. Okay, maybe that was a bit exaggerated. But she just didn't like rain.
The clear raindrops were already forming into puddles and small pools in the forest floor, and one raindrop hit her on the ear, causing her to jump and move further back into the den.
The silver-and-black warrior just stood there, glaring out into the rain.

Windstorm awoke to the sound of thunder. It was loud and rang in his ears. He grinned in, half-asleep.
He had always been a fan of water! He loved swimming in streams and ponds, and splashing in puddles! He had adapted to water quite easily. Being a former-loner and what-not....
He yawned loudly and stretched out his muscles. He felt them ripple beneath his pelt. He slowly got to his feet and blinked the tiredness out of his eyes. He glanced around the den briefly and his eyes on a familiar looking silver-bengal pelt. He grinned brighter.
"'Ello there!" He yelled over the sound of crackling thunder from behind Moonripple. His movements had been silent and unnoticeable do to the loud sound of pouring rain beating on the roof of the den.

Moonripple cringed as she heard the drizzling raindrops turn into a storm, and the thunder growl through the stormy clouds that now covered the sky. A flash of white lightning lit up the camp, making the thunderstorm of the night into sunhigh for a brief moment before it was dark and cold and rainy again.
She inwardly groaned when she heard an oh-too-familiar voice behind her. Him again.
The pretty silver bengal tabby tried to ignore Windstorm, only looking out into the storm, but another loud clap of thunder caused her to jump with a screech and crash down on top of him.

.::Windstorm::.
Windstorm was immediately awoken from his tired daze as the spooked she-cat landed on him. The breath was knocked out of him and he gasped once, trying to fill his lungs with oxygen once more.
Once he could breath again, he smirked coolly. He gazed up at Moonripple with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "A bit eager, aren't we?" He asked her with an amused tone.
"You could have just asked!" He get going. "I would have willingly been the mate of a beautiful she-cat such as yourself!" His smirk grew wider with every word and his face almost went numb.

Moonripple blinked, panting rapidly, trying to collect herself. Once she did, though, was when she realized she was lying right on top of Windstorm.
"Get away from me, you piece of fox dung!" She was ever so tempted to unsheathe her claws and slash his smirking face off, but instead; she settled for cuffing him soundly across the face; almost like a cat's version of a pimp slap.
Moonripple immediately scrambled off him and started washing herself thoroughly, glaring at him all the while. "Surprised you'd even want to have a mate, seeing all the she-cats that think you're the best thing since fresh mouse!" she snapped, smoothing down her chest fur in an effort to get rid of where she had touched him.
Another loud shriek of thunder caused her to jump, but thankfully; she landed on the floor. Getting up right away, she walked slowly to the entrance and looked out into the raging thunderstorm.
Thank CloudClan it's night, she thought. I wouldn't want to go hunting or even walking in this type of weather during the day. The problem is how I'll be able to sleep, but oh well.

Windstorm's face flew to the side. He shook his jaw a bit. "Hmm, well that was uncalled for!" He told her with an amused grin.
"They do think that don't they?" He asked her with a small sigh. His face held a grin, but his eyes hid so much more than that....
He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. "Sure is lovely weather we're having, eh?" He asked her with a bright grin as he padded into the storm.
He splashed around in a few of the puddles. "Come on in! The water's great!" He called over the large clap of thunder. He threw a mischievous grin at Moonripple.
Hmmm....

Moonripple raised her upper whiskers skeptically; watching him bounce around in the puddles. Her front paw twitched, as if to join him, but she held back. Some sort of inner debate was raging in her head.
C'mon! Go join him! It's been a long time since you've let loose and had fun, anyway! But he's freaking WINDSTORM! And...and...I hate water! It's just a little puddle play. Come on! Have fun! Enjoy yourself! AAARRRGGHHH!
Moonripple poked her head out, but immediately withdrew it when cold raindrops came pelting down mercilessly.
"Er...no thanks." Another flash of lightning, accompanied by a tremendous roar of thunder, sent her scrabbling further back into the warriors' den, as she peered out.
There he goes; playing in the puddles like a kit, she thought.

Windstorm saw that Moonripple was debating whether she should come out or not. It made him grin brighter than before. She then got pelted with rain, and she ran back into the protection of the den. He sighed deeply.
"Wait up!" He called after her. He padded up to her and obnoxiously shook out his pelt. Water went flying everywhere!
Including on Moonripple....

"HEY!"
Moonripple sat down to lick her now-damp pelt, just then noticing a soggy knot on her shoulder. She lapped at it, eventually untying it and smoothing it out, and licking it dry. But the rest of her fur still needed some work.
She was pretty vain when it came to her appearance, so she was grooming and licking and smoothing her black-and-silver pelt like there was no tomorrow. When she was finally satisfied and there was not one hair out of place on her gleaming pelt, she plopped right down in her nest and wrapped her long tail around her paws.
Another growl of thunder rolled through the storming night, and Moonripple groaned. "It better have stopped raining by dawn," she muttered, mostly to herself, as she lay her head down on her paws.

He laughed loudly. "It's just a bit of water!" He called to her, as she walked away. He grinned and caught up to her.
"It better have stopped raining by dawn."
That made him chuckle. "I don't think that's up to you, sweety." He told her smoothly. He sat down in front of her nest and loosely hung his tail around her shoulder.
"Why don't you like water, exactly?"

Moonripple cringed away from his tail and lifted her head to glare at him. It seemed like she was always glaring at him whenever she looked at him.
"I'm...sensitive to it," she meowed loftily. "It ruins my fur, chills me to the bone too easily, makes me get colds, I'm afraid of drowning in it, it goes on." She tightened her tail around her paws and glanced out the entrance again, trying to look past Windstorm.
The sheet of rain was still thudding down, but another flash of lightning lit up the camp, accompanied shortly by another bellow of thunder. Moonripple sighed. It seemed like it would never end.

A yowl came from outside of the warrior's den as a sodden black ball of fur flew into the Warrior's den, shaking from the cold. "Brrrrr......" Nightheart whispered, her eyes looking at nothing. She shivered, and her legs collapsed under her during a violent sneeze. She shivered, and her teeth clattered, making a horrible bone-shattering noise. Her eyes where staring out the door, at nothing still. She looked dead, except for her violent shivers.
