Nightmare(open)

Leaftail thrashed around in her nest, dreaming.

She was a kit again, her mother was nudging her forward urging her on. "Go my little kit! Run!"Her mother cried. Leaftail ran forward, stumbling. She glanced back and saw the fox attack her mother. She let out a cry, and pressed herself against the tree. Then the fox turned to her. It crept forward. She saw Tinydapple burst from the bushes, and run to Leaftail's mother's side. The fox disappeared, but her mother was dead. Leaftail threw back her head, and wailed.

Leaftail suddenly awoke. "Mother....."She whispered. She hated the nightmare. It wouldn't let her get over her mother's death. She tried to let go of the grief, but then she'd have the dream, and she'd start longing for her mother all over again. Tears beginning to stream, she curled up her nest.

Leopardcloud lay in her nest,hearing Leaftail thrash and move around in her nest frenquently. She turned around,seeing Leaftail curled up,whispering some words. "Hey Leaftail,is something wrong?" Leopardcloud whispered,making sure she didnt wake up anymore of the cats around them.

(yeah, i mean it was just a dream, it doesn't always happen exactly as it did in real life)Leaftail looked at her, and after a moment, shook her head. "I keep dreaming about the day my mother died. It just makes me miss her even more."
