Nightkit stared at the other kit's playing around. Her fur had just been cleaned.( By herself) She took no chances of getting it dirty or messed up. She stepped outside and walked to her friends."Hello"She said setting down to lick her paw." Like my fur? I just finished cleaning it." She would normally go on an adventure but she had clean fur once she was good she would but not now.

Little Lepeardkit's body squirmed closer to her mother's warm belly. Her eyes not opened to the world yet.Her fur a light orange with dark orange stripes.A white-orange belly moving up and down as she breathes.Every breath she takes tells her mother "She is alright".
Suddenly, her eyes open to the new, bright world. Her eyes the color of a brown tree trunk with a hint of dark green moss growing on the trunk. Her mother burst with pride and relief that she can see.As she yawns, all of the other older kits come over to meet their new den mate, lepeardkit.

A twig crackled in the dead of the night, the snow glistening faintly on the ground. The pine trees' branches swayed silently, the wind blowing freely in the moon's luminous glow. Atop a leafless tree, a small kit attempted to scramble up the remaining snowy branches. The kit's tortoiseshell pelt was ruffled, the kit's forest green eyes glazed with tiredness and mischief. Glancing wildly around it, the kit dropped to the forest floor outside of the barrier. Panting now, the kit darted forward and slammed into a much bigger form. Letting out a curious mew, the kit looked up at it.
The form had bushy read fur, and gleaming black eyes. Instead of attacking the kit, the form let out a wild yelp of fear. It sounded like a kit wailing. The kit stepped back in surprise, then yelped, too, in wild fear. "MOM-MA!!!" The kit wailed, flashing back into the camp and into the nursery, shivering in fear and cold. Fluffing up it's fur, the kit snuggled up against it's mother and fell asleep.

Wrenkit glared at the small creature before him. It was absolutely horrifying, and he almost screamed. It had far to many legs, and eyes that threw daggers at him. 'What is that?! Its freaking me out!' He whimpered, backing away to avoid its path. Terrified, he stomped on the bug several times before noticing it was dead. 'That's a relief!'

Lotuskit jumped a bit backwards, startled by the legged black speck in front of her. It was curiousity that had drawn the young she-kit to the speck in the first place. After growing tired of playing with the tails of other cats in the den, she had noticed a small black speck in the nursury and decided to check it out. After coming a bit closer to it, she realized that this was no ordinary speck. It had eight thin, brittle legs, and if you were to look closely you would see to tiny fangs and eight little dots that were the eyes, but the thing that starttled Lotuskit most was the fact that this speck could move. "What is this thing?" she asked in almost a whisper to no one in particular. Still curious about the speck, she lifted her front right paw and pat it a few times. She was starttled when the speck began to run away from her. At first she was upset because she thaught that the speck was running away because it didn't like her, or because it was annoyed with her, but soon the kit came to the conclusion that it was all a game. Suddenly enjoying herself, Lotuskit leaped over to the speck and trapped it in her front paws. Lotuskit purred with delight and released the speck so it could run away, and then leaped on it yet again. This process continued until the speck had succeeded in climbing the wall of the nursury, where Lotuskit could not reach, no matter how many times she tried to climb the wall after her new friend. Disapointed that the game was over, Lotuskit crawled back into her nest with her mother and littermates.
(Sorry if that made your eyes bleed. I haven't role-played in awhile and need to work at it some more.)

My small paws dangled nervously, my breath coming in quick gulps. "M-Momma?" I asked, opening my eyes for the first time. I had been on the nursery floor, writhing in fright from my horrible nightmare. I trembled, my legs shaking visibly. My stormy gray eyes were filled with terror, my furry calico body ruffled from the lack of sleep. I blinked through my hazy vision, trying to see through the dark of the nursery cave walls.
I frowned, wondering where the other kits were, wondering if I could make some friends. Yet, the would not be possible. I was too shy. I hung my head and I sighed.

Sunnykit's eyes darted around excitedly as she watched a small black spider crawl around the nursery, long legs moving fast. She got into what she thought was a hunting position and wiggled her rump. She pounced on the spider but it escaped through a crack in her paws! The little kit sat up, wondering where it went. She spotted it slip into the shadows but decided not to chase after it. Anyway, the other kits outside were playing a game.

I snored softly next to my mother, my hind leg twitching as well as my tail. My pair blue kit eyes opened, and I arose, yawning tiredly. I wouldn't receive my yellow-green eyes for a while. Dang, my whole body ached. With a stretch, I began my daily stretches. My kit muscles finally relaxed after my last stretch. This time of day was peaceful and relaxing. Yawning gain, I lapped at my white chest fur and licked my nose. I let out a deep sigh, a sigh that was happy. My blue eyes gleamed as I pulled into my crouch, eying a leaf that was astray. I silently pulled forward, my paws quick, light, and silent. I had been working on my crouch recently, to the point where I was quick, light on my paws, and deathly silent. It was my hunting crouch and my stalking crouch. I huffed silently, moving my jaw in anticipation. I leaped, twisting in mid-air and landing neatly on the leaf. I beamed with pride at my catch and soon more leaves came flying this way. My eyes gleaming, I stepped off to the side and barreled straight into the leaf catch. I flew backwards, stumbling over my own paws and laughing so hard I nearly fell over. My cinnamon pelt was neatly groomed then, my eyes sparkling with mischief and laughter. "Well that was fun!" I said, a hint of a smile in my face.

Willowkit opened her eyes, squinting at the bright sunlight streaming in through the nursery walls. She yawned, then stretched, her hind legs shaking from the effort. She felt good. Carefully, Willowkit lightly stepped over her litter mates' slumbering bodies and bounded out of the nursery. Once there, she sat down, careful not to get her tail wet on the dewy grass. Willowkit narrowed her eyes at the sun, which was slowly rising and warming her pelt. Slowly, cats began to stir around the camp and the dawn patrol started off. Every once in a while, a cat would pad in front of her and a shadow would fall across her face, sending brief shivers down her spine. But when the cat had gone, the sun would, once again, warm her.
Suddenly, she heard soft footsteps behind her. She opened her mouth and took a deep, long draught of air. Her friend, Redkit's scent flooded her mouth. Foolish Redkit. He thought he could sneak up on her. Well, he was wrong. NOBODY could sneak u--- Willowkit whipped around as sharp talons dug into her side, pushing her over. She purred, a deep rumble in her chest. Redkit, tail straight up in the air, was standing over her. "I beat you!" He mewed. "Not for long!" Willowkit purred and hoisted herself off of the ground. Together, the two kits sat together outside of the nursery, basking in the warmth of the rising sun.

[I'm going to use my post in my thread, if that's quite alright.]
My soft, curly fur felt like silk against the wind. The wind gently caressed my kit face, wrapping around my newborn body as I let out a shaky mew. Like all newborn kits, I was born with my eyes closed for a week and my ears tucked against the side of my head. I could however, move around a little bit and feel. What I didn't know was that I would open my eyes to darkness. Blindness-is what it's called. Anyways, I let out a sharp mew, soft and ladylike.
I snorted in surprise as I sneezed, careening over the side of the nest. Soon enough, I hit the floor with an oomph. My head was cocked in surprise and I attempted to wriggle back into my mother's nest.

a SpIdEr iN tHe NuRsErY Swallowkit was sleeping idly in one of the corners of the nursery, a few kittens had been trying to get her to play with them, but she just flattened her ears and turned tail, retreating to her favorite spot. The dark little dip in the corner of the nursery that had the view of everything, but could not be seen. Perfect. Her dreams where broken only by a shriek from one of the she-kits. "Spider!"
Raising one brow in a curious fashion, she stretched clumsily - she was still getting used to her new legs, not that they where used much anyway - and sat up. Sure enough all of the toms had crowded around the poor spider and the she-kits - minus a few braver kits - had all huddled over in a corner together. Not seeing anything much to her interest she yawned and decided to take another nap before going to get some food.

" Stay still Frostedkit, I need to put the cobweb on you!" said Firestorm. My mother was prancing around the room saying "You're only a kit and that badger could have killed you!" Mother said I was irresponsible and stupid. I stood up for myself when mother called me trash. "This would have never happened if you didn't leave the nursery to do your warrior duties and if you didn't go catch more even more prey with Streamfall. I need you to stay in the nursery and watch over me if you want me to stay in camp. I need to be watched over and to be... loved." I had to whisper that last word. No one would should ever know how I feel, the wouldn't understand. No one shall ever know!

A shy little tom, usually sleepy at this time of day, when the sun had almost finished its shift in the sky, poked his little pink nose out of his inviting nest. He slowly extended one forearm so that he paw lay on the ground. Using this one paw, he hauled himself from his nest and stretched his little legs, opening his mouth wide to yawn. He opened his vibrant amber eyes and looked around the nursery, gaze passing the bodies of the other kits and the queens, snoozing through the night. The only reason that the kit had arisen was due to the greedy complainings of his empty stomach.
Stepping slowly, he padded over to the nursery entrance, ready to venture outside it to grab some fresh-kill. Or, at least, a fraction for his little self. Just about to set paw outside the barrier, he froze. Something was crawling up his long onyx tail. Turning his head around slowly, he gasped, and began leaping in spasms to attempt to get the spider off. Crowkit was vulnerable to his timidity, and it often showed in patches of time. By the time that he was out of breath, the spider had clambered up to the top of his head. Shrieking, he swatted at his head madly, ending up with a bump on his head and a squished spider on his paw.

Sunlight filtered through the branches and thorns of the nursery, waking a small tom cat from his deep slumber. Squinting his gray eyes, the tom yawned, his narrow oriental face stretched wide. His black pelt shimmered lightly, his tongue lapping fervently at his ruffled fur. Stretching his small body, the young tom purred loudly. Too loudly for a fact, for he had woken some other kits. Being quite social, the young black tom scampered over to the entrance of the nursery. Sighing, he glanced at the sun once, the sunlight making the pupils of his eyes dilate.

Badgerkit opened her jaws in an enormous yawn, and stretched her tired limbs. She looked around the nursery her eyes wide. Nobody was there. She spotted a piece of moss on the edge of her nest. She quickly picked it up in her claws and threw it all the way over on the other side of the den. She got up and stretched once more, before running over to it and hooked in her claws again. She threw it again, but didn't chase it this time. Instead she sat down and began grooming her ruffled pelt. When she was done, Badgerkit got up and headed out of the den in search of her friends. She was in a talking mood today.
