The Dark enters! ~Open~

Darkpaw ran into the den, but unfortunatly, he didn't see any of his friends.
'Thats right...There...' He sighed.
Making a nest, he sat down.

[Leafblur]

Leafpaw looked up from her own nest, which she was changing out. She smiled to the tom. She herself hadn't been here long, and it was nice to see new apprentices.

He noticed the apprentice, the only apprentice that seemed to be
in the den. He waved his tail, but he felt as though he bored
other people because he couldn't talk.

[Leafblur]

Oh, he was the one she had heard about. The new mute apprentice. She felt bad for him. because of course, all the quiet people had the most on their minds. She continued to smile, knowing it wasn't his fault. Her little sister had been born mute, too. She was used to it.

[thedark]

He smiled slightly at her, but then he thought. 'I wonder
if she's gonna start a conversation, though I can't talk,
I could still make some kind of signs or something...'

[Leafblur]

From experiance, she knew the best thing to do was to ask yes or no questions. That way, he could still communicate. "So, are you enjoying your apprenticeship?" she asked sweetly.

Honestly, he wasn't. All of his friends were warriors, and they all forgot about him. But
besides that, it was ok. He just nodded his head, a smile on his
face. He wonderd if shecould read lips. So, he just mouthed a
simple word. 'You?'

[Leafblur]

Leafpaw smiled and shrugged, looked back to her nest then him. He seemed to think so. "It's kinda lonely in here sometimes, and I don't think my mentor knows I exist." she confessed. "A lot of my friends are warriors now, anyway,"

[thedark]

He nodded, a smile on his face. 'Kinda
like me...' He felt guilty that he had kinda lied.
Being an apprentice was fine if you didn't count the friends
and other stuff...

She looked at them again, but without the smile. "I guess you are going through the same?" she asked quietly. Most apprentices felt this way, so she wouldn't be surprised if he said yes.

He nodded, though his situation was slightly different. His
old friend was now his mentor, but that was the only time she
would talk to him. Another friend was in the Nursery, so he
didn't exactly see her. He really didn't have any friends.

[Leafblur]

- Yes, it is so worth celebrating! xD -

"We could be friends." she offered kindly, knowing that it would be much easier then being a step apart. "I know how you must feel about your friends as different ranks."

[thedark]

He smiled, and nodded. 'Atleast it'll be
easier to talk because were both apprentices.' He looked
outside the den, but then back at her. 'Hunt?' He
mouthed.

She purred in response. "Hunting sounds great." she flicked her tail and let him lead the way.

He nodded, and ran outside of the den. 'Finally,
I get to just hand out with a friend, instead of fretting about
training...' He sighed, and waited for Leafpaw.
