Darkpaw yawned, sitting in his
nest. He had nothing to do at the
moment, Rabbitfoot had finished
training him for the day. He was
a lot more calm today. He new the
apprentice's den was crazy now,
but he decided he would just ignore
it. He wasn't going to let someone
else ruin his apprentice days. |

hailpaw saw darkpaw sitting alone so she walked over to him and just sat down next to him ''hi'' she sighed wen ever he came back from training he looked like he just wanted to not go and wen ever he left camp to go training he looked like he was dreading it ''you dont like training do you???" hailpaw said?? her eyes were pools of clear blue.

Leaftail gave a slow nod. "Yeah, there is that. But Darkpaw......we could figure out a way for you to communicate with others. You aren't the first mute cat, and you won't be the last." (whoops, sorry, forgot you were mute, that was kinda a dumb question)

hailpaw looked at leaftail questionly ''do you have any ideas of how he can comunicate?'' hailpaw asked her gray tail tip twitched as she thought of ways for darkpaw to comunicate.

Leaftail nodded. "Signals. Twitching his tail, tapping a paw. For example. He could tap his paw once for no, and twice for yes. And when he twitches his tail, it could mean he doesn't understand. That would help in training, so Rabbitfoot knows if he understands or not. We could work out a way. And I'd be happy to help. I don't have an apprentice, and doing nothing but hunting and patrols day after day gets old after a while."

He shook his head. He liked training, but of course he couldn't tell them
that. Why did they assume he didn't. He hated how people misunderstood him.
He listened to what they had to say.
