Softpaw, once Softkit, was making her nest. She made it pretty far away from all the other apprentices, for her only friend was Lightningpaw. It was really soft, like her name, and she was very excited. Tinydapple, her mentor, would be in any minute to train her in being a warrior!

Tinydapple walked in, excited to see her new aprpentice. "ready for training?"

"Yeah!" she cried, folowing after Tinydapple.(it's complicated.) The warmth of the sun felt different. "Maybe it's my new sense of purpose," she whispered, following Tinydapple still.

she started to walk out of the den motoining softpaw to follow

(well, we weren't born in the same litter so we're half sisters. But you're like a full sister to me!) Softpaw trotted beside her. "What am i learning today?" she asked, blue eyes shining.

Midnightpaw padded lazily from the Apprentices' den. Seeing Softpaw, she walked over to her- and another cat that appeared to be a warrior- and asked, "If you're training, do you mind if I come as well?"
