Icepaw turned and bared her pearl-white teeth, hissing. Her ears were flat against her head, and her tail lashed back and forth with her claws unsheathed. Her eyes gave a menacing stare, daring for Oakpaw to come any closer.

Weaselpaw widened his eyes. "Er, yeah, Oakpaw, let's go now!" he quickly mewed, standing between the two she-cats. As he padded off with Oakpaw at his side, he glared at Icepaw over his shoulder.

Weaselpaw stopped in his tarcks. He glanced from she-cat to she-cat. Stop saying mean things to Icepaw, Stupidheart! She's my friend! He blinked, surprised at himself that he would even defend Icepaw in his head. He shook his head rapidly, backing away and racing for the camp entarnce, thinking he was going crazy.

Shiningcloud followed Weaselpaw silently weaving her way through the trees. When she found him, she sang quietly.
