A black and white tom with a roll of moss in his jaws and under his chin padded slowly towards the elder's den, placing the moss down and waiting for his apprentice to return. She had shone during training, and soon her paws would be very strong. He hoped that the elders would like all the moss they had gathered, and so that they would have nice new, fresh bedding tonight. |

Petalpaw bounced into the den with her moss. Placing the moss carefully where Badgerclaw had put his. "There all done, did I do well. For my first time I mean." she purred as she looked around the elders den. It was her first time and everything seemed to amaze her. Sure they were just elders, but they had lived longer then she had been alive, even longer then that.
She never came in as a kit, she was scared they would shoo her off. She wished she did, she wanted to hear a story so badly. Would it be un normal for her to ask? maybe just a little one. After she was done with Badgerclaw. She just sat there and shuffled her paws, "I hope they like the moss we got them" she mewed.

"No, you didn't do well." Badgerclaw mewed blankly, waiting for shock to show on her face.
"You did wonderful!" He purred after waiting for a few moments. He laughed and reached out a large paw to tussle the fur on the top of the small apprentice's head.
"I bet that they'll love the moss you've brought, because of the hard work you put into collecting it. You gave it your all and you excelled. I'm proud to be your clanmate." Badgerclaw purred, leaning his weight on his untwisted paw.

Petalpaw for a second felt a little hurt. Then he went on to say she did wonderful. Laughing Petalpaw nodded "Thanks, I never knew moss gathering could be...fun! But I can't wait for battle training." she purred. Knowing she was already the age for being a warrior she just had to remember that Badgerclaw will train her at his own past. Even if it takes longer then most. "Thanks Badgerclaw, I'ts great to be your clanmate too. Best mentor ever" she purred. Sweeping her tail on the ground she looked at the moss. A deep purr rose in her throat. All her hard work was right there ready to be used by the elders.

"Battle training, eh? That can be arranged for tomorrow!" Badgerclaw smiled and looked off into the territory.
