The Blow
Prologue
The fire, it burned on that dreadful day
Sometimes it takes strength to get through something bad that has happened. This is my story.
A perfect day the sky was bright and wisps of clouds were gently blowing by on the breeze. The bright blue early day light cast shadows against the pavement. I sighed and walked to school.
At school I put my books in my locker and started to homeroom. My best friend Kate skipped out from behind me. Her long black hair flew behind her as she gracefully stopped at my side. “Did you hear about Mrs. Mc Samuel.” I look at Kate puzzled and in return she rolled her blue eyes. “Whatever, catch you later Holly!” I watched as she ran down the hall.
In homeroom my teacher was yelling at a student. It was my other friend Nina.
