Midnightpaw lay on her side in a curl. Her tail rested neatly on her paws in front of her face and she looked at the the cats around her through a narrowed red gaze. As she watched, she heard conversations- though of training, those of crushes, and those of just random, mouse-brained things. The voices of warriors sounded from just outside the bracken walls that made up the TreeClan apprentices' den. Voices that called to apprentices.. Voices that made the young cats run, bounce- whatever other verb you could think of- out of the den for training.
Soon the apprentices' den was silent and Midnightpaw could return to her slumber.
However, the silence didn't last long and the she-cat's heart nearly stopped at the sound of a.. Well, she didn't know what. Midnightpaw growled fiercely and her gaze darted around the den crazily, searching for the cause of the noise.

Tigerpaw came in, but not in a happy mood- or at least not now. Some warrior's trying to cause trouble with her. 'Another Tinywing..' Her thought was. It was just awhile ago that when she was younger, a certain cat tried to start something. But than again when she spoke to Skywing, a friend of hers, he was in some drama himself and she believed him. But she didn't mind it as she approached and sat herself in the den. It was a few days ago that Lightningfoot almost made trouble with Nighttail. but it was his fault and Nighttail calling her 'A wretch'. Nice.. Very nice. You expect warriror's would have respect wouldn't they?
Her passed by many cats that went out of the den, Tigerpaw went in. Her mentor she would go see later. She felt the sun disappearing and the dark clouds come in. Some cats in the den sleeping. A head of her were some rocks she pawed in the corner that apprentices were playing with and it cluttered sounds as it landed. She ear swerved to the growl a she whipped around, seeing a cat with a black pelt and blazing eyes. She brought a paw to her and licked it, not caring if the cat was mad or not,"Oh, did I wake you up?" She mewed, just not that polite,"Relax, everyone left for training."

Midnightpaw's gaze stopped at the she-cat that had come into the den. She froze, still in the same position- back arched, fur bristling. Midnightpaw glared at the other apprentice for several moments, She's calm.. That's better than what a lot of cats can say. The black-furred she-cat thought. Midnightpaw sat down and flattened her ruffled pelt with her rough tongue. "Yeah.. Normally I wouldn't be so jumpy but you caught me by surprise." Midnightpaw nodded, "Thank StarClan they did... I couldn't handle the noise or their presences anymore. Too many of them are ridiculous. Far too energetic."
"Honestly, though, it's nice to meet another apprentice that doesn't act like that." Midnightpaw meowed. At least one that doesn't seem to act like that. Some cats fake who they are when they first meet another, so it's hard to tell, although she seems calm. From being lazy most of her life, Midnightpaw had heard many, many things about what's going on in TreeClan. So much drama... Nothing got under Midnightpaw's skin more than drama. It annoyed her yet she knew it was a part of life- without drama, everything would be utterly boring.
Midnightpaw blinked a few times in order to bring herself out of her thoughts and into reality. She was a spacey she-cat for she was used to getting bored of hearing the other apprentices' whining and often ended up dozing off.

Her gaze glanced up to the she-cat, not really interested in the stance she took. She held her gaze up for a bit, knowing this cat wouldn't likely attack her. It would have to be a more subtitle reason, not by surprising her. Or else, she could find this very whiny about this apprentice. Than again, she dislikes when other cats disturb her sleep as well., so she understand what the apprentice did. She put her paw down and replied, though her eyes fixed on her fur, she felt it was all frazzled so she fixed it up with her tongue. Her tongue lapping over her fur in smooth strokes.
Her ear listened to Midnightpaw's words interactively and spoken,"By the looks of it, I have. And I can't agree with you more. Though most of the apprentices . . I knew, well one of them left the den." Shadowpaw left.. He had the same perspective of Tigerpaw and so did Emberaw. Now she knew why she called Emberpaw 'Shadowpaw'. They surely acted the same. In fact, all of them did. Though she became great friends with them too. "Oh trust me, there not as bad as they seem.
"They may be annoying but friendship is important. We can't neglect the cats who we dislike." Tigerpaw mewed thoughtfully,"One day, we might need their help but if we treat them like dirt . . . All respect is lost." She didn't want to tell the cat that she given her a chance- she did. "Who are you? I'm Tigerpaw. Kit to Harrowingpride and.. mentor.. It's either Beechstar or Junipertree I"ll be getting trained from."

Midnightpaw kept her attention focused on the apprentice, refusing to lose herself in thought once again. This one didn't bore her like the rest did. In Midnightpaw's mind, that meant a slight possibility of friendship rose.
As it was none of her business, Midnightpaw didn't ask. That didn't mean she wasn't curious as to who the she-cat meant, however, for she was. "They aren't, huh?" Midnightpaw asked, finding it slightly hard to believe. "Well, I suppose the generalization that most cats in TreeClan are annoying drama queens may be a little overboard, then.." Midnightpaw's whiskers twitched in slight amusement for that's how she'd always felt about her Clanmates. It was very rare for there to be a cat who had calmness about them and wasn't gossiping every moment of their life or cooing over one tom after another.
Midnightpaw nodded in agreement, "That's true. As long as we at least respect each other, then whether or not we like them is invalid... Unless, of course, the cat is untrustworthy.. It's a harsh world and hard subject, really." Tigerpaw. It was a good name. "Harrowingpride? Then it seems we're sisters. I'm Midnightpaw, by the way. My current mentor is Nighttail. It's nice to meet you."

A laugh was almost coming out. At that comment of what Midnightpaw had said 'They aren't,huh?' Well, some of it was true. There's other cats who are not that annoying but than, no apprentices had been in the den but three. Make that a bunch now. So she was used to the silence because than it was so quiet. "It's nice to have a bit of racket. Before you came here, none of that happened." Her mood lightening up,"It's nice to have some drama too but none of that happened though. Although I'm sure we both know what that is.. Some apprentices are learning about it now." Nice for them too express their feelings but since she met her friend Skywing, and his mate problems.. She felt bad for him, she should check how he is doing afterwards. "Oh. . . well, they're hadn't been much drama for the queens.."
Wrong again, she knew about Oakspirit. She left whens she was very very young so and the news spread by word of mouth. Even Tigerpaw wondered where or how she was doing too. She caught something of what Midnightpaw on a sentence,"There would be some but I don't think we would know unless we talk to them. And that's how we will build up trust. Nighttail? Mine is Junipertree." Tigerpaw proudly said and hought this was an interesting conversation.
"Sister? . . . That's wonderful-Do you know SKystorm? She's another sibling but she went to the warriors den. I imagine she's glad to be in it now." She hadn't spoken to Skystorm at all.. for awhile. "It's nice to meet you too. You must of just arrived and been in the den for awhile, I am for not noticing you at all." Tigerpaw mewed,"How was the nursery?"

"It had, huh? So there must've been a huge wave of large litters.." Midnightpaw meowed, shuddering. "I wouldn't dream of having kits. Many of them are far too annoying.." It was probably clear to any cat that Midnightpaw was one to be easily annoyed. All it usually took was an energetic or extremely talkative cat to get her claws unsheathed and eyes blazing. "Learning about it now? I hope that means they learn about drama.." Midnightpaw sighed, "Yeah, some drama in life is good... Too much is too much, though, and it gets overwhelming for just about every cat." The apprentice smirked, "By 'drama queens' I meant the cats that love excessive drama- not the queens that care for the kits."
Midnightpaw nodded, "Yes, that's true." Gaining the trust of other cats can be easy depending on how gullible they are. I could easily take advantage of another cat in this Clan, but that would cause too much drama and I wouldn't want to deal with it. Besides, where's the fun in hurting another cat if they're in your own Clan? The only hurting of other cats I'm interested in is sinking my claws into the skins of other Clans' cats if they've done wrong to my Clan. The apprentice thought, closing her eyes.
Her eyelids split once again, giving her the ability to see. "Skystorm? I knew a Skypaw but I'm sure there are more cats in this Clan named 'Sky' so I can't say for sure. Hopefully most cats that didn't already have common sense have it by the time they're warriors. Not as hyper, either, I'm sure?" Midnightpaw nodded, "Yeah, I've been here a while.. The nursery? Full of bouncing kits. Although some of them were pretty cool and I admit I had quite a bit of energy to me at one point."
