Burning as the Rain porse Cold

Burningpaw sat up in his nest. His brown and amber eyes sleepy. He blinked sleep out of his eyes. Standing up he looked out into camp. Rain pored down on the clan. He could hear it on the top of the apprentice den. Standing up he walked over sticking his head out of the den pulling it quickly back in.

[Snowpaw]

Snowpaw slowly woke up of the pounding of the rain on the den. She spotted the calico pelt of Burningpaw. "Hey Burningpaw, what you doing up?" she asked with clear blue eyes. {{Lazy}}

[Burningshadow]

Burningpaw shook rain from his head as rain drops flew off of his head. He turned and looked at Snowpaw. The large Tom smiled "Hello Snowpaw," he mewed "The rain woke me up," Burningpaw told her in a gentle voice.

[Snowpaw]

"Me too." she meowed. "Do you want to come and sit under a tree outside with me? I need some fresh air." she meowed knowing the tree would keep the rain from getting them wet.

[Burningshadow]

Burningpaw nodded "Yes," he mewed walking over to her. He stood by her, "Let's go," he mewed waiting for Snowpaw to go with him.

[Snowpaw]

Snowpaw padded off after Burningpaw twisting her tail with his. "On the count of three run to that tree." she meowed pointing to a tall oak tree. "One....Two..........Three!" She pelted to the tree trying to avoid the rain drops that hit her back.

Burningpaw nodded getting ready to run. He counted along with Snowpaw in his head. As she got to three they both ran to the tree.

[Snowpaw]

After Snowpaw reached the tree she waited for Burningpaw. "Come up here." she said as she climbed onto the lowest branch.

Burningpaw stopped at the tree and looked up. He gathered strength in his hunches and leaped. He landed on a brach next to Snowpaw.

[Snowpaw]

Snowpaw looked at Burningpaw with warmth in her eyes. "I usually come here if I can't sleep." she meowed in his ear. {{Lazy}}

[Deeppaw]

The new apprentice was drenched in the rain. Actually he had a fondness of water. It was getting late, very late. He had patrolled all day and he felt energetic still. Small murmurings made his ears prick. He thought it was just wind. He clambered over to the middle of the clearing and sat down. He had to guard camp too. He sighed inwards happily as though the water was like a new kind of god coming with liquid on a hot day.

[Snowpaw]

Snowpaw spotted her best friend Deeppaw. He was just made an apprentice not to long ago and they hadn't talked much since. He was such a joyful and fun cat. But also someone she would never forget. Her heart lies with Burningpaw but they are all very close.
He used to like her but that was awhile ago and he had grown out of it, well I think, she thought to herself.

"Hi Deeppaw." she whispered not trying to wake up anyone in the dens. She was out of the dens but still.

"Hey," meowed Burningpaw beckoning Deeppaw with his tail to sit with them. "Come up here with us" he grumbled still quietly.
