Who Wants to Hunt? (o-p-e-n)

(Up to five apprentices, please. No more, no less.)

Dawn was cracking, and the patrols were now out. The apprentices should be awake by now. Koisplash sighed, stepping into the apprentices' den and tail swishing about curiously.
"Anyone want to go hunting with me?" she asked, sharp green eyes flickering around. "I can take you off your mentors' paws for a while."
Of course, she already had an apprentice as well; Lynxpaw. He could come too, if he wanted.

Lynxpaw lifted his head off his paws, he saw the calico deputy walk into the apprentices den and then heard her voice. He pulled himself to his paws and padded over to Koisplash. "I'll go." He dipped his head in a greeting to Koisplash. A hunt would be nice, even with his fellow apprentices. He never really got to know any of them and right now he only knew two. Finchpaw and Duskpaw. Maybe they would come on the hunt, it would be nice to have someone to talk to that he already knew. If not, he would just have to talk with the other apprentice's, no matter how much he didn't want to.

A brown tabby looked up from her mossy nest, her blue eyes dull from lack of sleep. Nettlepaw noticed a cat in the den who was much bigger than an apprentice, but she couldnt make out who it was. The tabby rolled onto her white paws, her front one twisted, and stoop up, streaching her shoulders. She blinked her eyes several times then realized it was Koisplash, and dipped her head in respect. "Good morning, Koisplash." Nettlepaw mewed, running her twisted paw over her ear. She nodded slightly to Lynxpaw and looked back out to the clearing. "So, when are we gonna hunt?"

The she-cat nodded at the two. "Good morning, Nettlepaw, Lynxpaw," she answered. "We'll start about now, when the patrols are out. Eat first and then we can go.
"You know the basics on hunting, right?" she asked Nettlepaw. Although she had given Lynxpaw some training, she didn't know if Nettlepaw had had any.

After Specklepaw was done admiring her clean white claws the she-cat looked up and stretched arching her brown back. "Um, I wouldn't mind." She said looking up her sea blue eyes striking koisplash's pelt in thankful-ness. Specklepaw hadn't been out in a while.

The apprentice nodded slowly to Koisplash, feeling her fur rise a little. How hard it had been to learn just the crouch. She lifted her twisted paw and looked at it, dugging her other claws into the ground. The apprentice hissed slightly then put it back down, still annoyed. This paw makes me have a stupid looking hunters crouch! Never the less, it was still a way to catch prey. Nettlepaw got up and padded out of the apprentices den and towards the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a mouse before walking back into the apprentices den, finishing it off in a few quick bites.

~Greenpaw~

A black tom padded out. He had heard that Kiosplash was giving out hunting practice or something of the sort. " Greetings, everyone. I am Greenpaw. Kiosplash, may I join you "patrol"?" Greenpaw asked the deputy. The black tom really wanted to get out of camp for a while. Hawkflight hadn't been training him much. So, he was mainly stuck in TreeClan camp.

Bluepaw heard that Koisplash was gathering a patrol. "May I join Koisplash?"

[Koisplash]

Koisplash looked around at the new apprentices that had showed up. "Sure," she answered. "The more, the better. Get a mouse or two if you're hungry, and then we'll meet up at the camp entrance. If you're ready, you can wait a bit."
To illustrate her words, the deputy padded out the den to stand just outside the entrance. She had already eaten, so all she had to do was wait.

Bluepaw wasn't hungry so she sat by the entrance with Koisplash waiting for the others.

[Lynxbriar]

Lynxpaw slipped out of the crowded den after Koisplash and Bluepaw , he was rather hungry since he had only gotten up a bit before Koisplash had walked into the den. Grabbing a plump vole off the pile , he trotted toward the deputy and fellow apprentice to sit down and eat. He took a bite out of it , savoring the flavours the danced in his mouth. In a few more swift bites , the vole was gone. Lynxpaw drew his tounge over his mouth , making sure that there wasn't any leftovers from the small meal. Stay silent , he waited for the others to join them by the camp entrance.

[Nettleflight]

Nettlepaw nodded and stood up, her twisted paw sending shocks of pain through her leg. Crap! It fell asleep again! She shook it hard and placed it on the ground again, this time feeling normal. The apprentice padded out of the den towards the entrence where Koisplash and the others were waiting. "Alright." Nettlepaw mewed, setteling down and running her paw over her ear. "Im ready to go when you are."

[Greenflare]

Greenpaw nodded to the deputy, walking to the fresh-kill pile. The black tom took a minute or so trying to choose a nice, plump looking squirrel. He grabbed the gray creature and settled down in the sun, chewing on the warm flesh.

Once he was done, Greenpaw licked his lips, standing up. He padded over to where the deputy and a few apprentices were waiting. He dipped his head and sat down, licking a black paw.

[Koisplash]

Koisplash nodded and smiled. "Alright, let's get going," she said, trotting out into the territory. She looked back briefly to make sure they were following, and then set off towards an area she had in mind.
