Larkpaw offered the apprentice a kind smile. "Our struggles will make us stronger...and there's nothing wrong with not wanting to fight, that just means you have a kind heart. But, if it makes you feel better...-" Lark paused, shuffling her paws as though she was embarressed. "I can't climb trees, at all." She laughed nervously at herself, ducking her head away. "Its quite a sight to behold, watching me try to climb a tree. Beechstar had to pry me off because it was so painfull to watch, then I barely got down...and even with that I fell half way." She added, her tail flicking back and forth.

Larkpaw shook her head. "No, Feralbreak is my mentor. Beechstar is my father." She mewed, her chest puffing out alittle with pride. She was proud to be his daughter, not that she would ever boast about it though. No one likes a boaster or a gloater. Although they were pretty much the same thing.

Softpaw smiled at the pride in larkpaw's eyes. She really was happy about this. " My mother is Harrowingpride but I don't know who my father is" she said gently. It didn't bother her that she didn't know her father she just cared about being her

Larkpaw's orange eyes widened. "So...we're half sister's then...Harrowingpride is my mother too!" She exclaimed, a small purr rumbling in her throat. "How great is that?" She mewed, her white paws kneeding the ground with excitement. Growing up in the nursery, she had no siblings and hadn't really played with many other kits, save Oakki-Oakpaw now. She sighed inwardly; where is that tom? I havn't seen him in a long while. She thought.

Hiddenpaw smiled at the other she-cat. Larkpaw had been her name. Sometimes he felt like he was the only tom in the apprentice den, but he knew that wasn't true. He knew that she had asked for his name, but he guessed that they would meet again for their nests were so close, so he would tell her some other time.
Hiddenpaw nodded to her. He was a shy cat that disliked talking so right now he just kind of stood slightly behind Softpaw and watched what the other apprentice would do.
