Softpaw wanted to talk or do something with her new friends Hiddenpaw and Larkpaw. Or at least one of them. She was bored and needed a friend

Larkpaw came bounding into the den, leaves clinging to her pelt. b]"Well, there's good news...and bad news." She mewed. "The good news is that I practiced tree climbing. The bad news is that I failed." She concluded, sitting down next to Softpaw. "What's up, Softpaw?" She mewed, as she began to clean her pelt.

" Oh nothing much but keep on trying you'll get it." Softpaw understood her friends fear of heights/ tree climbing it was similar to her fear of fighting. She thought she sounded kind of stuipid saying this for she did't really know how scary it was, she had never even tried battle yet. but she as scared. for SURE.

Larkpaw patted away fallen leaves from her pelt, her paws crushing the small green things. "Do you know where that tom is?" Obviously reffering to HIddenpaw, teasingly reffering to him as 'that tom'. She blinked her deep orange eyes, wondering when it was exactly that the three of them had become friends. There had been no moment where they'd all confirmed it, it had just kind of....happened. Is this how friendships work? She thought to herself.

" oh you mean Hiddenpaw? I think he went out to train with...do you know who his mentor is?" she asked her. it was quiet silly and embarrassing because she didn't know her own friends mentor

Larkpaw shook her head. "No, but you've known him longer than I have." She teased fondly, flicking Softpaw's ear with her tail tip. "But at least he's out training...Feralbreak hasn't trained me yet at all.." The black tabby mumbled, her ears laying flat against her head. Well, maybe this means I can train more with my dad! She thought optimistically.

Hiddenpaw walked into the apprentices' den. He melded into the shadows and hoped that nobody saw him, but he was almost certain somebody had. He took the long way around the den and made it to his nest on the far side. He had made it in the darkest place he could and so he built it here, where nearly not light shined through. He heard his name being said and something about training. I wish. He thought.
Shadowbird hadn't trained him at all yet, in fact Hiddenpaw didn't even know who Shadowbird was. It irked him that his only mentor though that they had better things to do then train the future of the clan. He looked at the two she-cats who were his friends and found his paws carrying him towards them. He stopped a little ways off and waited for them to spot him.

Larkpaw saw a very fain movement out of the corner of her eye, like a fleeting shadow more like it. Turning her gaze, she spotted Hiddenpaw. Sense his pelt was white, even in darkness he was easier to spot than most. "Hey, Hiddenpaw." She purred, motioning with her tail that he should come closer to join the cirlcle. "Come to the cirlce, we have bunnies." She laughed, her dark orange eyes glowed slightly in the dim light as she watched the ivory apprentice. I wonder...was he really out training? She thought to herself.

Hiddenpaw slowly walked forward more. He sat near the two she-cats. He frowned about her coment on the bunnies. He wondered why she had said that. Was it some kind of joke? She was laughing so it must be. He smiled and nodded his greeting to the both of them. His yellow gaze locked on each of their gazes for a second before looking at the dusty floor.
Larkpaw seemed to be thinking about something. He couldn't help but wonder what. He didn't voice his queries though.

Larkpaw stretched forward untill she was nose to nose with Hiddenpaw. "What would you do If I did this?" She asked, her eyes wide with mistchief. I feel like he doesn't like to talk around me, well, I'll just have to change that....with out scarring a friend away though. That would be bad, very bad indeed. She smile gently, then backed up several paces, wrapping her fluffy tail around her small paws.

Hiddenpaw took a step back in surprise. "I-I don't know." He murmered and shrugged his white shoulders. He examined the she-cat. It seemed that she was different from the cats he had met so far. She was more loose, almost as if she wasn't afraid to make a fool of herself as most were. He smiled at her slightly.

Lark tilted her head slightly-another habbit of hers- as she observed the white tom. "I'm gratefull for that reaction, if someone had done that to me, I more than likely would have cuffed them in the ears. So, I'm glad you didn't do that." She laughed, her eyes sparkling with humor. The black tabby was almost always happy and carefree, something she decided to be after she'd left the nursery. Becoming an apprentice changes you apparently. She mused to herself. Will I change again when I become a warrior? Or an Elder? Only Cloudclan knows.

Hiddenpaw nodded in agreement to what she had said. He might've cuffed her if she was somebody else, but she was his friend and he wouldn't do that to his friend. He sat down andbegan to lick his tangled pelt. After sleeping it was always messy. He quickly unknoted his fur and then smoothed it down with his pink tongue. He wondered what she was thinking at the moment.

Soft:
Softpaw watched in curiosity to what they were doing. How a shadow caught her friends attention and how they completely ignored her. " Hmmf" she thought anger stirring inside of her small body. " what would YOU do if I did THIS!" she mumbled silently to herself. She was Jelly. She began for the exit to the apprentices den. then at least she wouldn't be intruding on there 'fun'.

Larkpaw sent Hiddenpaw a slightly worried look. "Softypaw! Wait, where are you going?" She inquired, rising to her paws once again, about to follow the grey and white she-cat, but not wanting to leave her other friend alone. She let out a quiet sigh, barely loud enough to be heard. Her tail lashed once, twice. What happened? What did I do? She wondered, confusion glinting her her dark orange gaze.
