Just So Special{Mousey/P}

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw padded into the apprentices' den hoping to find Mousepaw. They were best friends and were finally apprentices. Mousepaw had something just so special about her and he wanted to be with her for a little while today. Hopefully before he trained, well if he had training at all.
"Mousey?"
He called into the shadowy den. Crowpaw didn't miss the nursery because the apprentices' den was something so different and soon we would start training to be a warrior. But none of that mattered right now. Just him trying to find Mousepaw.

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw looked up from the back of the nursery, behind a wall of brambled and moss. Getting up, she padded up to the tom, her eyes shining. "You called?" she mewed, sitting down and running her paw over her ear; something she did all the time. It was great, just being with him, just seeing him; Crowpaw had this special vibe comming from him. How had I ever been mad at him? The brown apprentice remembered when she had yelled at Crowpaw, making her flick her ears back. Never would she admit this to anyone. Never would she admit that she was sorry she did. "Yeah, Crowpaw?"

"I was wondering if you would want to do something alone, like maybe go talk by the big oak tree in the camp?" he asked her. It would be great to just talk with his best friend alone. Mousepaw had yelled at him when they were kits but then one day he found the other side of the beautiful she-cat and they just turned best friends. And that would stay forever!

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw nodded and smiled softly, swishing her tail on the ground. "Of course! We could climb it, too!" she mewed, jumping to her paws. "See, before I hurt my leg, I climbed to this one branch, a perfect place to see the entire camp!" It had been beautiful... but she hadn't been back up since she hurt her leg, something she had regreted almost every minuite. "So, ya comming?" It would be nice to just be with her friend withouth the entire clan watching her, but that was probrbly going to cmange. Mousepaw always seemed to attrackt attention. Negative attention.

[Crowspirit]

"Sounds fun! Ya I comming!" he meowed. Then he jumped on the trunk claws unsheathed and he started to climb until he came to the first branch and he pirched there waiting for Mousepaw. She was right! It was beautiful! "It's so cool!"

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw hesitated at the base of the tree, flexing her claws nervously. However much fun she had the last time she climbed it, she was frozen with fear. Can I still climb? What if my leg gives out? What if..? Jumping back, she winced from her own fear, looking up at Crowpaw with apoligetic eyes. "I'm sorry! I-Im afraid my legs gonna give out!"

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw scattered down from the tree. "Ya we'd better not risk it until your leg is fully healed." He couldn't wait till Mousepaw was fully healed then they could do anything. All of a sudden he got lost in her pretty blue gaze with his intense amber eyes.

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw looked away as he stumbled down the tree, her eyes dull. He shouldn't have to miss out because of me... But he came down anyway. "Crowpaw..." she began, then caught his eyes. Beautiful. But, she knew that a certain she-cat could be watching. But she didn't want to look away. Dragging herself from him, Mousepaw looked at the stars, wondering if her ancestors were watching. CloudClan..?

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw held his gaze then it was broken when she looked at the stars. "Are you ok?" he whispered. She seemed different all of a sudden. He was glad to be here with her and he didn't want to leave but what was she doing? He looked up and back into her blue eyes.

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw blinked, falling back into the whirl of amber, her own blue eyes sparkling. She won't see, right? The last thing she wanted was conflict with a clanmate, but that was almost impossible. The fur on the back of her neck was begining to rise, her blue eyes going dull. "Crowpaw..." she mewed, looking away, lashing her tail in pain. "You and I both know that Firepaw likes you! I... I don't want to put you in the middle!"

[Crowspirit]

"I know." he sighed. "I kind of like her but you...you are different. You have something special about you that nobody else has." He locked his gaze. What if she didn't really feel the same. Crowpaw really liked Mousepaw and he didn't want to lose that.

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw looked back to him, shadows hiding half of herr face, though the tear shone brightly. No... Firepaw scares me. However much she wanted to tell him, she knew that she would just be making things worse for herself. "Thanks... I have no idea whats so special, though. I'm just a regular cat." He met his gaze once more, this time, not even bothering to look away.

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw felt regret in the brown she-cat. What was there to be scared of? "You have the bravest cat I've ever known, you are the most beautiful cat ever! You are corageous. And you are.....you." he said with a soft voice. Mousepaw was acting like she wanted to be with him but she couldn't. What was holding her back? "Mousepaw. There is nothing to be afraid of. Whats holding you back?"
