Who Am I?~Mousey & Firex/P~

Crowpaw sank deep into his nest as everyone got up. It was past sunrise and he hadn't seen Mousepaw or Firepaw. They must've gone training or hunting or patroling, they could just be anywhere. So he waited silently for them. He big strong paws shuffled a mossball back and forth.

He liked both of the beautiful she-cats and they didn't like each other though. Someday he will have to pick one of them and he was afraid that whoever isn't going to get picked with hate him forever and never forgive him. And possibly ignore him. He would surely regret it but it could only be one. So far he knew that they both liked him back which mad it even worse since that would make them hate him more.

All it felt like now was that this was his fault. He let himself fall in love with both of them and now they had done the same, fell in love with him. He didn't want to break any hearts. It all seemed like they two she-cats were in competition since they knew someday he would pick one. Crowpaw didn't know how he would decide and yet still stay friends with the other who he wouldn't chose. So all he didn't was wait now. Hoping that they would come because just someday it would happen. Who am I?!

[Firespark]

Firepaw entered the den yawning. She had a rabbit in her mouth that she had caught on a hunting patrol with her mentor, Softspark. "Hi Crowpaw!" Meowed the she-cat settleing down in her nest next to him she nosed over her rabbit and meowed, "I caught this today, but its really big. Do you want to share it?" The apprentice smiled then relized something.
Somethings not right.
"Are you OK?" She asked looking at Crowpaw with worried eyes, her fiery pelt gleamed as she took a slow bite into the rabbit and then nudged it to Crowpaw. Firepaw's aqua eyes shone with pride as she loked down at the rabbit. Suddenly she had an odd feeling in her stomach.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked suddenly dreading the answer. Firepaw looked down at her white claws and sighed.
Am I the reason that Crowpaw is so stressed?

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw limped back into the apprentices den, her shoulder stinging from climbing so many trees with Beechstar. However glad she was that the clan leader was her mentor, she couldn't shake this feeling that something was wrong; someone was upset.

Looking up, she spotted Crowpaw, Firpaw at his side, a large rabbit at her paws. The young apprentice hadn't even learned the hunters crouch yet, though she'd learn it soon. "Morning, Crowpaw." she mewed, her blue eyes bright. He's upset... Gasping softly, she dug her claws into the ground, regret making her pelt prickle.

Oh no! Just what I didn't want! He's stressed out because of being loved by two she-cats! Just what I didn't want, the poor tom to be in the middle... Instantly, Mousepaw ran up to Crowpaw, her eyes full of regret as she looked up to him. "Crowpaw, I'm so sorry! I didn't want you to be in the middle and now you are! Oh, I'm so, so sorry!"

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw looked up from where he was. He spotted Firepaw enter the room and Mousepaw. They both seemed concern from him. "No I'm not mad at either of you and I'm fine. I just hate myself." he confessed. "I'm afraid I'll lose one of you if I pick one of you when I'm a warrior." he sighed. "I just hate myself!"

[Firespark]

Firepaw looked up at Mousepaw a growl starting to form in the back of her throat. Lucky for Mousepaw Firepaw stopped the growl and the urge to attack the she-cat. Looking at Crowpaw she meowed, "Crowpaw, you shouldnt even think of something like that. You are loved and valued by the intire clan. If you killed yourself or did something bad to yourself, including thinking like that, Treeclan will be a disaster. We are already weak from the fight with Deathclan." Firepaw leaned down and licked Crowpaws muzzle comforting him.

[Crowspirit]

Crowpaw heard a slight growl start in Firepaw's throat. It was true! They did hate each other! Mousepaw was held back because she was scared of Firepaw! "I would never kill myself but right now I just have a few problems in life." he meowed. "But we all need to talk." he said to them.

Mousepaw cast a frightened glance to Firepaw, shrinking back as the she-cat began to growl. She didn't want to fight and she couldn't fight, not now. The brown apprentice blinked in sadness, staring down at her paws, thinking of what to say. "Listen, Crowpaw." she purred softly, padding a bit closer but making sure she stayed well clear of Firepaw. That she-cat scared her, and she didn't like being terrified every second she was in the apprentices den.

"Crowpaw, you know that both of us love you... you're an amazing cat and it's not right that you're in the middle of this. But, even if you pick Firepaw over me," she purred softly, casting a small glance to the ginger she-cat about two tail lengths away, knowing that she would probably be picked over her. "It'll hurt, of course, but you'll still be my best friend. Always... and you don't have to choose until you're a warrior, do you?"

[Crowspirit]

"I don't know but soon I plan on chosing." He didn't want to lose Mousepaw but if he picked Mousepaw Firepaw said that she won't be able to stand watching them be all affectionate and she wouldn't be Crowpaw's friend. But he didn't know who he would choose yet. His decision would rely on his heart not the others actions if he didn't choose them. "But we need to talk far away. Somewhere that nobody would hear us. And I know the perfect place."

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw didnt understand really, but he must have a reason for choosing so quickly. I mean, were not warriors yet, I'm not even close. Never the less, the brown warrior nodded slowly, her eyes growing a little more dim. "We should go soon. I'm really tired and my shoulder's sore. I want to go to sleep..."

Slowly, she got to her paws, wincing as her shoulder stung, but padded a little closer to Crowpaw, despite being so close to Firepaw. She wasn't angry with the she-cat, she compleatly understood, but she wasn't into being hissed or growled at by her. "You beleive me, though, right? I mean, you beleive I'll still be your friend, right?"

[Crowspirit]

"Yes I do." he purred. He led the way out of the camp but just so close to it. It was night time, a quiet yet beautiful night. It was clear sky and beautiful stars that hung in the sky. The perfect night to where he took them. Then he found it. The beautiful sparkly cave. He stepped inside. Memories flooding in his mind. This is the place he went to when he needed to think. He was the only one that knew about until tonight. Inside the cave there was a hole in the roof which let in beautiful moonlight on a shimmering pool that sat in the middle. "Isn't it beautiful?" he said getting a little closer to both of the she-cats.

[Firespark]

Firepaw followed Crowpaw into the cave and looked around. It was unique. "Crowpaw, why do we need to speak in a private place?" Asked Firepaw her shinning pelt flowed in a light stale wind.

[mousefrost]

Mousepaw sliled softly, watching as he and Firepaw padded out of the den. Following, she stayed back a few fox-lengths. She stopped as they neared the mouth of the cave, noticing she had walked to fast and was just a tail length away. Waiting for them to enter, she followed, blinking as she saw the beauty of the cave, the sparkling walls, the hole in the wall letting the moon light in.

"I-it's beautiful." Mousepaw mewed, padding in a little further, her eyes shining brightly in the starry light. As she walked in further, she blinked at the pool, stars shining on it, gasping as she felt it pulling her closer. I-I feel close to my ancestors here... Beauty. I love it. "What did you want to talk about, Crowpaw?"

[Crowspirit]

"I brought you here because I need to say a few words." he began. "I love you both, equally. It's very hard knowing that I'll have to choose one of you. But I know that Mousepaw would forgive me if I didn't choose her but Firepaw...." he trailed off. "Firepaw you said you wouldn't be my friend just a distant friend." he sighed sadly. "I don't want that to happen. Either way I want both of you still to understand who I pick and still be a best friend because I will love both of you!"

[Firespark]

Firepaw looked at Crowpaw and meowed, "I understand who you chose is who your heart choses. I respect your choice." Meowed Firepaw knowing it wouldnt be her.
I wonder if he's going to pick now...
Wondered Firepaw looking at Crowpaw with aqua eyes full of love.

"Right now I know that I love you both and it's just really hard. So don't think that you won't be picked because I will always have wanted to pick you both. But Firepaw why can't you forgive me, not saying it won't be you but if it isn't I don't want to lose my best friend." He wished he hadn't done this. He let himself get into this mess and he would have to make the hardest decision one day and it would hurt him deeply knowing that he loved them both.
